Unfortunately I should of learnt from our first experience buying a bird from Brookfield Produce. First time a year ago we got a cockatiel my parents brought my daughter and died in a day, rang them and was a hassle to get a refund. Recently brought a Kakariki and within a short time frame was sick and died. We did notice at the time of purchase and mentioned it to the sales kids, as the wildlife birds are literally on the other side of the fence, there was a cockatoo with beak and feather and he had no idea what that even was. So considering it was hanging around the Kakariki and other cages I could understand how the birds will get sick and die and should it should of rang alarm bells then, but stupid me still got it anyway.

Overall, horrible experience and if you wish to get a bird for a pet you'd like to have more than a few days or weeks I would shop elsewhere. Not including if you take them to the vet too which is costly.

Have purchased kids Blundstone boots twice online. Really helpful sizing instructions and very fast delivery! Would recommend.

Live out past Ipswich but travel in all the time, our one stop shop. Amazing selection and staff are friendly.

Good prices however no membership details were provided at the till. I like the separate equestrian section, however stock levels are not consistent. Also there is no step ladder for hard to reach items. Online platform is inconsistent with what is actually on the shelves. It’s a fair drive so I would recommend ringing ahead if you know exactly what you want.

Great variety of fertiliser, garden hardware and tools. Lots of pet food and other pet supplies on offer. We were pleasantly surprised to see the assortment of birds, chickens and Guinea pigs for sale.

I and my 9-year-old daughter went there this morning. The staff’s attitude was not as good as I expected. She wasn’t supporting at all. They didn’t reassure us that our chickens were ok. My daughter went home sad as they had convinced her not in the best way.

Delivery was quick and driver was very helpful. We ordered the sugar cane bales, and they shed a lot of debris. The driver piled the bales where we needed them for us, and then swept up all the mess

Great range of products at good prices and free delivery! My dog loves visiting this place too; the lovely staff give her treats.

Helpful staff provide quality produce and advice. Happy that they load heavy bags of chook food etc into the car. Always a good place to shop for produce, plants and food stuffs. Roger

I went there to get one of their “hand raised” cockatiels. Not hand raised one bit. We tried to get in contact with the produce store but no one picked up the phone, or responded to the emails we sent them. Lucky I love cockatiels and I’m working with him, but wow. Horrible service and lying to their costumers.

Brookies is great, they have a huge range and their staff are super down to earth and helpful. Very reasonable prices given they are located in an affluent suburb.

Absolutely love Brookfield Produce. Huge range of pet and livestock products. They sell everything. Great hay, also. Love their plants area. Also, variety of Chickens, birds, guinea pigs, pets for sale. Very well cared for! Recommend this Store.

Just brought heaps of nut grass into my garden beds thanks to this store stocking and selling Rocky Point mulch and straw. Do not buy.
