Brisbane MarketPlace reviews
61Fabulous markets! Loved everything about it from produce to the range of foodstalls available. Dining area in the middle is also nice. Price of the market is also extremely cheap (do note gold coin entry). There is also a flower market next to it which is one of the best in the country!
Huge market opened during weekend. Fresh meat, vegetables, herbs, amd all kind of market things. There is a food area with live music, good vibe.
Location is a bit remote.
Great variety of food and drinks available to purchase and lots of tables and chairs to use. There were lots of people selling various items like fruits and vegetables, meat and other items. The only downside is the heat and humidity! I wouldn't go there on a hot day, go on a cold one and you won't have to experience the steaming sauna.
Average market. Coming from markets of cairns, Melbourne and Sydney this market is fairly poor compared to them. Got most things you’d need from a market but nothing to make it stand out. Especially with an entrance fee too, i won’t be in any rush to go back.
Best morning market in Brisbane. Good quility and cheap price of all the veggies and fruits. Also have some amazing food stalls as well. If you like to go to markets, you have to visit this one.
Fun Saturday morning at the Rocklea Markets buying some quality fruit and vegetables, a Sourdough, some Cacti and this 1.55m Happy Plant for $30
Veg, fruit not cheap and also not as fresh. Long wait for checkout as well. Very limited food choices here.
Arguably the best weekend market in Brisbane with many types of produce and goods offered. Great food stalls too. Try the Authentic Turkish Bakery
Despite not being a largely advertised place like say the Australian Zoo. The Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary was an amazing place! Most Australians are used to seeing Koalas in zoos but this place is just fantastic! Pretty much everywhere you …
I discovered a diverse range items at the Sunday 'Discovery Market'. This is a morning market open 6am till midday with easy parking for $4 and its easy to find as it is very well signed. There's coffee and many breakfast options, lots of food stalls including, Japanese, Greek, Malaysian, Thai, Korean, Hungarian, among others. The general stalls offer a huge array of plants at great prices, along with clothing, crafts, tools, gifts, pet gear, phone gear, and things you might expect to find at a garage sale. This is an outdoor market, which is good for covid safety, and the majority of stalls are undercover.
Is it cheapest? I don’t think so, Woodbridge is more economical, but is it close to city, catering for Brisbane city people needs.lots of veggies, Plants, food stalls, coffee, Cheese, Wet-market and other shops like home decors.worth a visit, Need to pay 1$ for person. Most shops accept card but not all of them. Have some cash in hand otherwise Movable ATMs are there. Parking is in the Brisbane market and it is free.
Been here a few times and each time the atmosphere and food was amazing, live music and so many vendors to shop at. Consistent.
Well managed. Ample parking. Really good quality hot food, fresh produce and plants. Some craft items were ridiculously expensive. Lots of fresh produce on special from about 11: 45AM.
Even with Covid lurking upon us and clearly soooo many stalls missing, this morning was a fantastic morning out with my family. Unfortunately they aren't the good old markets like back in the day when a good haggle was fun. People get very offended when you offer less than to pay asking price. More "new stalls" then old style stalls. People forget: 1 man's trash is another's treasure! I always loved attending Flea Markets whilst growing up as a 80's kid.
Anyhow still a great family morning out. Will certainly be returning on a Saturday for the fruit and Veg stalls xx THANKYOU Stay safe everyone xx
A great morning out. Good food. Interesting stalls. Noticed a young male markets staff person pushing in front of people with trolleys, then later an awning he was pulling down. Looking to be sued if he injures someone.
Love this Saturday market. It has combined frsh fruit and vegetables market, food stalls, flowers and garden plants section.
1dollar/person Entrance fee required.
Heaps of fruit and veg. Good quality. Smallish markets for bits and pieces. Not a lot of quality goods. Fun for kids on a budget. Great food stalls -heaps of variety
Great market today. Barney's singing made the whole atmosphere awesome. It was a shame they had to pack up because of the rain.
Is a good market to u pay to get in.not much secondhand mainly stuff from over seas. Would be better if had more second hand goods.lots of pruduce and places to sit
Great Sunday Market! Plenty of fresh farmers veggies and fruit at great prices, food, entertainment, and plants galore! Definitely worthy.
