Brisbane City Council Pool - Bellbowrie Pool

A great spot for an afternoon swim. It got a little busy after school finished, but it was clean, well shaded and enough room for everyone

Great pool. But it's not fair that we have to use it around the MSS kids swim classes. So in that respect, it's not really public

Great for 50m lap swimming, can get very busy in the evenings, especially if lessons are underway. Staff are always very friendly and happy to help.

Had my sons 1st birthday here on Sunday the 22nd of January. The staff that worked that day were amazing right from start to finish.

Fabulous pool, super friendly staff, awesome facilities always clean can't rate it highly enough will definitely be back

Nice pool - awful staff. The ego enraged adolescent female lifeguards will make your visit hell! Both were incredibly rude and arrogant, and constantly yelled at everyone for every little thing. Management, train your staff - there is no need for their behaviour.

The pool itself is nice, it has nice facilities. But I was there yesterday and the lifeguards were very excessive over the rules. Barking at the kids over everything. You’re not allowed to jump or dive in any pool, at any time. Even the deep end. No balls. No running or skipping. Saw some poor father forced in the kiddie pool with his school aged kid, because watching from the sidelines was not enough for the lifeguard. Completely took the fun out of the afternoon. We will not be back.

Nice enough pool but sadly there was an over zealous English life guard that ruined things. He was marching around like the fun police trying to thwart any happiness before it occurred. Came over aggressively to order me not to let my 8 year old jump in the (empty) pool. Reminded me so much of my time as a kid in the UK when the lifeguards would kick you out for the slightest infringement…hope the guy can learn to adapt to Aussie ways when it comes to having fun in the water. We won’t be going back.

Nice family friendly atmosphere, 25 m pool is heated, small kids pool and 50 m are not, is early in the season so they will get warmer, nice way to start a Sunday morning.

Large lane pool perfect for swimming laps.
Well-priced.
Has never been too crowded when I have gone.

Excleant pools and caters for all ages. Well worth a visit on your own or better still take the family

What an amazing complex! Two pools one 50m and a 25m undercover and heated! Plenty of activities to enjoy as well. There is even a Water play area with a tipping bowl for the kids to enjoy.

Great little gym with very friendly staff.
You would do well to exercise at this place!
They also have a nice heated 25m pool and a full size 50m pool.

Very clean facility, friendly staff, temps of the pools are great even for babies. Heaps of shady areas and plenty of seating. Lawns well maintained and clean bathrooms.

Nice quiet place for locals. Has a large pools with lanes separated, a medium heated pool for young ones to learn swimming, two shallow pools for toddlers and a water play feature with a toppling pail. Toilets are a little dark and old but still alright.

Very good setup with the different pools. Saves the long drive to Rocks riverside and the adults get to swim.

Great pool, lovely staff. Only gripe is that the 50m pool isn't heated and the whole place is only open 5ish months a year even though the 25m is heated. Otherwise when it is open its amazing.

Really enjoy taking my baby girl to Bellbowrie Pool, it is clean and so many separate pools which is good for the little ones, the baby pool is shaded and heated too. The swimming instructor on Thursday afternoons at 3pm is amazing we love how she interacts with the babies, is actually teaching them something even tho they are still little and you can tell she loves being an instructor. Definitely recommend.

Great place for young kids. All the smaller pools are undercover so you can use it in the middle of the day without sunburn worries
