Brisbane City Council Pool - Spring Hill Baths reviews
26Beautiful pool, indoor with an open glass roof. The bath house feel from the 1920s is very cool, love the classical music
What a fabulous and charming heritage listed facility. Very well maintained, it was so enjoyable to swim at Spring Hill Baths.
So far the staff are very welcoming and the pool is good for relaxing. You can come anytime casual and it's very cheap $5.80 a visit.
Tim and the others that work at the pool. Are nothing but kind and informative. I am and have been visiting from the states. Swimming almost every day here during my holiday. The faculty is clean. The pool and water are nice. If and when I visit Brisbane again, I will surely make sure that this is part of my regular routine.
Very cute little pool. Quite the time capsule. Wouldn't be good if you had mobility issues as the space around the pool is very narrow and there's a few steep steps from the street entrance up to the pool area.
The manager is very friendly and helpful, the water is clean under the shower facilities is good, I love this place
Wonderful historic pool, well maintained and a beautiful place to come for a swim. Only 6 lanes in a 25 yard pool, but usually not crowded. Historic changing rooms and look of the pool makes it worth a trip. The music playing is inspirational too. And Tim, the guy in charge of the pool, what a legendary Australian!
It's pretty cool given these are historic baths, a couple of logistical issues due to the historic design, still a nice place.
We met the lovely Tim who looked after us so well and made our experience so great, this is a fantastic pool and Tim is an asset to the establishment.we can’t wait to go back!
Great place, very well-maintained. The ambience is nice too, they played classical music there. I have a 2 year old and a 7 year old niece and they get cold easily so this place was perfect for them plus they have floaties, pool noodles, boards, etc that are free to use. They also have a shampoo/body wash in the showers so it's very convenient.
A beautiful old pool and building. Great for casual swimming but a bit too shallow for lap swimming.
Good to rediscover this gem. Very suited to my need for pool therapy and easy for me to get to. Able to use in nearly all weathers.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Also the pool is heated to a delightful temperature. Love going here for a swim!
The pool and facilities are very clean and heritage listed pool and building are a lovely space to bathe. The only reason I did not give a higher star rating was because I am a lap swimmer and this pool is focused on other services and the water is at a higher temperature to cater for therapeutic use. It is still fine for lap swimming just not optimal
Tim is amazing. So helpful and friendly. Took the time to make me feel welcome, introduced me to the local's and totally made my day! Thanks Tim! Also had a nice warm swim.:)
Old world charm and friendly staff and a thanks to Tim in giving me tips for helping me swim correctly for back rehabilitation.
Awesome pool. Manager during the week is a legend nothing is too much hassle and always trying to help everyone. Thanks we are going to be regulars.
Great pool awesome customer service, Tim was a really good person. He told us the story about the place. Best ever costumer service in Australia.
I visit this place in maps cause here is the beautiful place where Swimming Upstream was fillmed. A very beautiful and heartbreaking australian film that has deep things that I love. Greetings from Mexico.
