Brisbane Arcade reviews
46Beautiful interior, plenty of interesting specialty shops. Amazing light displays during Christmas.
Stepping into the Brisbane Arcade is like stepping back in time a hundred years- very old worldy in both style and content. Shops range from the Keri Craig Emporium on the bottom floors with all it's dazzling home design items, to jewellery shops, wedding boutiques, a hat shop to the smallest of the shops in the engraver on the top floor- no electrical or mobile phone shops here thank you. I loved both the tea shop and the tea rooms. The tea rooms though lacking the booths of the Shingle Inn still exuded charm and were obviously an institution. I had been directed to the engravers there by Omega no less. Brisbane Arcade is a haven from the hustle and bustle of the real world if only for a brief time, which is its charm.
Nice little shopping centre. Large selection of shops, ranging from jewellery stores to art studios.
Christmas decorations are a feast for the eyes and certainly bring a smile to your face. Absolutely beautiful.
Very picturesque mall in the heart of Brisbane. Loved the atmosphere of the place and had a wonderful time perusing the shops in the area. A nice spot to drop by on a whim or if on a walk through the city.
A beautifully preserved old school arcade full of unique stores and eateries. It reminds me of a mini QVB in Sydney. If you’re wanting something different from the cookie cutter shopping centres, it’s well worth a visit from the lower floor to the top. It’s a delight & has many great jewellers as well.
I just love this arcade. I enjoy seeing the specialty stores, beautiful fashion stores and jewellers especially those on the upper floor.
The Room with Roses on the upper floor is fabulous for High Teas and lunches. Just a gorgeous Cafe with that nod to yesteryear.
Walking into the place is like stepping back in time 100 years ago. The Christams display this year was magical!
QUIRKY SHOPPING ARCADE IN BRISBANE CBD
The Brisbane Arcade is a small shopping centre over two levels and
a basement. The centre is quite old but has been well restored.
Mostly smaller non-franchise shops.
People with mobility issues will be fine entering from street as there are no steps at the entry.
Lots of speciality shops - food, coffee, designer fashion, jewellery, bespoke dressmaking. Beautiful old arcade showcasing quality yesteryear construction. Shops on two levels. Internal atrium. Just lovely.
Always a calm and quiet oasis in the middle of the city. Drinks and food at Room with Roses (upstairs) is recommended
This old and beautiful building is one of Queensland’s heritage. It is stunning to step in it very beautiful which housed the Australian Designer Kerri Craig store and my favorite High Tea in the city, Room of Roses, jewellery stores, high end boutique, etc. The architecture of the building is simply breathtaking.
Must come and see when in Brisbane.
Plenty to see here, and Kerry Craig is certainly worth a visit for special home wear treasures. A truly beautiful shop and why not book in for one of their fabulous high teas. Nothing wrong with a bit of self pampering.
A must see for the architecture. The shops have a variety of quality goods and very friendly staff.
High quality shopping arcade located between Queen St Mall and Adelaide Street. Nice quality specialist shopping. Good ambiance
Love the building and some places are great. I've had a few rude experiences, and it is very expensive, but it's expected.
The heritage of this building is exquisite! From the ornate wooden shop window fronts with stained glass details, to the delicate art deco inspired architraves and fittings, it is like taking a stroll back in time.
Such a lovely place to explore and will leave you with a thirst to seek out other such buildings with historical significance in Brisbane.
Somewhat cramped, but wonderfully decorated and tranquil compared to the chaos outside, with an interesting but conservative selection of shops within.
Today I went to the cafe inside the Arcade and found coffee was so nice!
I want to visit there sometime again!
Such a nice little lane with nice shops. Especially now it's really lovely and like a hidden gem, as inside the lane is decorated with Christmas lights, decos and trees. It's really photogenic inside, especially at night
