Bribie Island Bowls Club

Food and service were good. The one thing that annoyed me was have to take my hat of in club, rather archaic i think. Not like it was a RSL or like club.

Enjoyed a meal on the deck overlooking the passage. Stayed at the club for the trivia great host and fun. The night was spoiled though as the courtesy bus was full and no other bus that night disappointing as it was only just after 9pm.

I have eaten here many times, however the
Barramundi meal that I had last nighy was delicious. Very well presented, with compliments to the chef.
I will certainly be ordering this again.

I left this review a year ago, I came back, and it wasn't until I was equally impressed that I remembered that I left this review. Quick service, perfectly cooked steaks. My son said the burger was fantastic.

Really great food at fair prices. Wonderful service; the staff were lovely. It took a little while to get our food but it was busy. My son said 'worth the wait. " Definitely recommend and definitely will be back.

Love. You just need to make it on time. Or, maybe I needed to make it on time. Good food, great atmosphere, until,?

2 stars for the view. The frozen veggies & mashed potato came out cold, veggies wern't drained. The schnitzel was just warm & tasteless. Disappointing

Don't order your entrees when you order your meal as they try and drop everything on a small table and act as if it is ok service is out the window an entree is before a main meal I thought, very poor

Always a pleasure to put your legs under the table at bibc. Meals are always nice filling and well set up

Meal was ok but would nice a sharp knife I had sausages and veg. Hard to cut through the skin and even broccoli please sharpen up

We had the most amazing lunch today. Good old chicken snitz plus ham with yum salad and side of chips. A mate ordered the steak and it looked mouth watering. Enjoyed the food and a spot of pokies and headed out onto the upstairs balcony overlooking the ocean off Bribie Island into the passage. Keep your eyes out for dolphins as they pass by in the afternoon.

Atmosphere is great food was good, reasonably priced. I wouldn't recommend seafood lingerie or snitzel with seafood, seafood is not fresh it's frozen. Staff were friendly, good location.

Menu is very good and so is the food. The view of the Pumicestone Passage from the verandah is fantastic. The staff are engaging, friendly and helpful. Chicken Carbonara was yummy! Thank you.

Very disappointing
Four meals bought. Three a problem. I had grilled barramundi and veg. The veg were obviously from frozen vegetables so bad couldn't eat them. One person had calamari and she was having to spit out the uncooked bits. One had a burger with egg. The egg was so runny that the yoke just about all ended up on the plate. Its obvious that egg on a burger shouldn't be runny. Any chef knows that. Then to add insult to injury i got soda water and lemon from the bar and they charged me for it. I always order that drink from pubs & clubs and they never charge for it. Its gasses water for god sake.
We wont be back.

Saturday lunch with family some great views of the passage and a tasty schnitzel with crunchy chips for lunch add a local brew and good company it's a good venue

The food, service and atmosphere was amazing, thanks so much for making mine and my aunty's birthday lunch so enjoyable, and the bonus birthday gifts we a lovely touch xo

Went for meal and quiz night. Great time. No genuine vegan meal on menu but my pumpkin salad was fine with a bit of cheese.

I am new to the island and was told the Bowls Club was a nice place to visit. Upon arriving, I couldn't sign in outside, so went inside to sign in with my mask in hand and the woman at reception yelled "put your mask on! " I was a bit gobsmacked at her attitude. I said that I had every intention of putting it on once I checked in. She said you have to walk in wearing your mask. I apologised and said I didn't know as I was new here. I then went upstairs to wait for my friends and was just upset how I was spoken to. Told my friends not to come there. Ended up in tears. Gentleman behind counter was very nice, so was Duty Manager. My point is. She could have said to me, "excuse me, could you please put your mask on, " not yell at me. I am sad and won't be going back. I know this may be a one off thing, and you may think I am petty, but when you have never been there before and she didn't know that, be nice to people, don't yell. I have worked in hospitality, managed a few places and never spoken to anyone like this. Always had great staff.

4 of us went for dinner mid week.
The meals were varied, interesting and yummy.

The food came quickly, and the service was friendly.

The bar service was also quick, friendly and very fairly priced.

Sunset views on the outdoor balcony, over the water, a beautiful bonus.

I had the pan fried barramundi it was excellent. Perfectly cooked with dill and lemon.my husband had the wagu beef burger xnd was really delighted with it.
We will definitely be back.
