Bowen Hotel

Moved to Bowen 18 months ago. I feel like rude and disinterested staff can really put a damper on the experience and have experienced it too often at other local pubs to Bowen! But for Bowen Hotel their customer service is number 1. Maybe it's because they are hiring local, long-term employees. Staff are amazingly wonderful, polite and cheery 100 percent of the time! Please keep it up! Kids love the hang out room! The food is always good! And chicken wings served, while food is being prepared, is great!

We had a great dinner here in our recent visit to Bowen. The staff greeted us as we entered and were very friendly to children. Staff took care with my allergies, making sure I had no reaction. The kids loved the playground and activity bags they received with their meals, which miss fussy eater had no complaints about.

What a fantastic resturant in rhe middle of Bowan, the Bowan hotel has it all. From a great kids play area, an amazing menu, to food that will leave you wanting more, this is the place to go. The whole family enjoyed the visit, everyone loved their food and the kids were happy all through due to the kids play area and free kids party bag. Recommend for families, this place will not let you down.

Bowen is a small town. I moved to Bowen from last March. I cannot believe that there is so yummy food at Bowen hotel here. For fun for family. I will enjoy my every weekend here. Beer steak fish and chips! Great job

Showed up on a Tuesday night and took advantage of the 1kg of wings for 19.99. They wings were very tasty and they weren't drowned in sauce. Service was pretty quick and overall experience was really good.

Pokies don't pay very much. But good staff friendly and accommodating always giving you snacks

Had lunch there today after getting married. Warren was very helpful, and looked after us very well. Meals were absolutely beautiful, prices are good and great atmosphere. Music was just a little to loud. Keep up the great work guys. A great day was had by all. Highly recommend.

First time there and will return next time we visit. Place looks newly renovated and a large bar and dining area gave it a large layout feel. Big menu and keep up with the complimentary chicken wings!

Awesome place for dinner with the family, kids activity pack with kids meal, kids zone including playground. Friendly attentive staff, good food and reasonable prices. Modern decor. Would recommend!

Such a beautiful pub - staff are amazingly friendly and great service. First time up here from Brisbane and was very impressed. Tables were set perfectly also which is unusual for many pubs these days - cannot fault

Only been here once, but was very impressed with the staff, service and atmosphere.don't even get me started on my meal. Hands down the best Thai Beef Salad I've ever eaten! I live an hour away, but will definitely be back next time I'm in Bowen

We come here every Sunday for a lunch of wings and chips (with their excellent pepper gravy!). Manager Warren knows our order and knows our drinks. When (if) time permits, he sometimes delivers to our table. Always happy to have a quick chat as well and he is one of the reasons we continue to come back. Two thumbs up, Warren!

Lovely food and a really clean place to eat with a great indoor play area for children. I would suggest ordering mains to share as they're lovely and decent sized portions, while the children's portions were small, so my children were still hungry. The children loved the play area.

Great venue and excellent service. This is my second visit to this establishment. Both occasions the service and food has been second to none. They actually had an issue with the table ordering system on my most recent visit and the food was delayed as a result. The extra effort to correct the inconvenience was well over what was expected or needed. Thank you.

Would not expect such a great pub in Bowen. Amazing food, decent sized portions, proffecional service and a great atmosphere. Top place when you visiting beautiful Bowen.

Pokies only at the moment. Previously thought food was really good. Sometimes staff seem a little preoccupied doing not muxh. Staff turnover seems high and i refuse to pay $13 for a bourbon especially when spending so much there.
