2I’ve been meaning to close my account for over a year as I moved to a different gas provider some time ago but finally dropped off my two bottles on the 15th of this month, was still charged the full months rent $68. Didn’t bother me too much but couldn’t get through to any Australian numbers to cancel my account and then the one number I could get through was an Indian call center that rang back at close of business. Was told that I could not close my account and that I would have to pay another full months rent. My current provider is half the cost on bottle rent, The staff at arundel have always been great to deal with but but BOC’s pricing has been getting worse and worse every year. Very frustrating experience to not be able to talk to someone in Australia.
Not enough customer service reps waited at the counter like 15 minutes to be served!
