Boardriders Coolangatta

Had my board knocked off 2 days before Christmas including the bag, leg rope and Fin. The bloke in the shop this afternoon was a great help with the replacement and also helped out with a discount. I’ve been coming here since they opened and highly recommend the whole team.

Please train your staff in some basic manners. I was shopping on Sat 23rd Dec & store was closing, however door was still open & staff still there. I walked in purely to ask a question as I was intending to return the next day & make a purchase. I was told the store was closed, replied yes but I just have a question, staff member shouted over top of me & accused me of forcing the door open& told me 3 times in the space of a minute that they were closed.
Obviously a busy time of year, I get it, but basic manners is not too much to ask for is it?
Needless to say I won't be returning, plenty of competition to shop at locally.

I came here this morning for breakfast with my Fiancé and her parents who were visiting.

Food was delicious!
Customer service was very friendly and helpful - no request made was a big deal and there was no hesitation to help.
And it was dog friendly outside seating which we were ecstatic about with a bowl ready for the puppy to drink.

Rude.no service.as bad as it could get.the guy rather watched his bloody you tube videos instead of helping me find the right board.

Good food and coffee, the blonde worker Sugar was really bubbly and sweet to us the whole time.

Happy as always with the great service from Meg and Jade in store today. They’re always friendly, genuine, honest and know their products well. Jade always suggests things that she knows I’ll be happy with, which is really appreciated. Thanks, ladies!

Terrible service! Well actually no service!
Stood at the bar waiting to be served whilst staff continually walked past us without even acknowledging us! One guy was standing at the end of the bar unpacking drinks into the fridge very slowly mins you at snail pace. Not one person out of the 3-5 staff that walked past us smiled or acknowledged us nor bothered to say someone will be with you shortly.
They did however have time to smirk at each other and think it was funny that we weren’t being served!
When two other staff finally arrived to serve us I was ignored and she started serving someone else who had come to the bar after myself and my friend!
Management need to take a good look at the disgusting service if you could call it that.
We left without ordering and would never recommend nor go back.
Without customers these people don’t have a job they should remember customer service goes a long way!

Waited at the door to be seated as noted on sign, after about 5minutes walked toward a waitress (blonde hair early 30’s) as we had been ignored and she barked at us “put a mask on, have you checked in? ” Could have just asked us normally and wouldn’t have been an issue.

Would never step foot in that place again with the service being that way, someone with such low levels of customer service shouldn’t be representing someone’s business.

Great burgers, reasonably priced and chips were great too. Staff are super friendly and it’s in a great location.

A blonde lady in her early thirties at the coffee machine requested that me and my friend needed to wear a face mask before entering. So we got our face masks and proceeded in, little did we know she’d lost a family member due to covid and somehow that was our fault because my nose was exposed, and she blew up, I actually thought she was going to attack me. She got really nasty, so I recommend assessment of your workers before fit to work. And the other lady had to refuse us service because of this outburst from this one employee.

Expensive and Bad. Staff were absolutely disinterested, not a single smile or genuine interaction.

I had the Mexican Bowl. It was extremely bland. They had forgotten to add any seasoning or flavour. It was just black beans straight from the can and some rice. Gross.

I am writing here to make you aware if you step in this store looking for a nice sunglasses.
They have really nice ones, the staff are excellent treat you pretty well.
But when you find a glass and they say it is lifetime warranty, make sure you buy 2 instead 1. Because if you need fix o replace one you can wear the other.
I went there with my @Otis sunglasses which I bough 1 year ago, with arm inner damage. They said was cover by the warranty, however I have to leave it there without any prediction how long it takes to be back. By the same token, if it is cover by the warranty should be replaced immediately.

And I heard sorry but it is not our own branding.
I am sorry but if you don’t trust the stuff from others brands do not sell it. I bought in Quiksilver store, I have no relationship with the Otis sunglasses.
I would leave my tip, if you go there, buy 2 sunglasses instead 1, if you expect be cover by the warranty and still have a sunglasses to wear.
