Blue Dog Training

Informed owner that their intake forms do not allow transgender and gender diverse people to identify. Informed them the Australian Bureau of Statistics has a new data set and that they are allowed to include more terms (checked with AVETMISS) The owner dismissed me and said they are under no obligation to respond to my emails or change anything. They were short with me and not interested in being inclusive. I have the email if anyone wants to see it. It appears they are phobic against diverse genders and being inclusive. I will not go back as I cannot identify. I am still upset at having to put on the form something I am not just to get a qualification that I am forced to get (Whitecard). This is ongoing issue for people of a diverse gender and it renders them invisible in data collection.

Miss Tyla needs to learn how to talk to people. I've sent all my new guys to Blue Dog for 7 years running - we ever have another white card experience like that and I'll be finding a different company.

I found assessor JW extremely unprofessional, I'm green to this and was asking what notes, I was called "Champ" twice, I'm currently in customer service and we never call anyone "Champ" I terminated the assessment and went and rebooked another, to that I passed with flying colours. The manager doesn't care for complaints as I spoke to them or the CEO, who advised me over the phone that the matter has been dealt with and he's telling me the outcome. My response was how could you deal with a complaint I've called back immediately and got put through to yourself, I have emailed my complaint whilst being on hold and expect a thorough investigation. The response was poor, I do not recommend Blue Bog Training, go elsewhere.

Great course run by great course coordinators. Greg our trainer was extremely well spoken and knew his stuff well. Would recommend.

Course trainer was excellent but terrible method of delivery. They do face to face at the same time as virtual, everyone commented on how it should be one or the other. Go elsewhere if you can choose a better method or ask them before if they are delivering both courses at once or separate, I only found out about this after turning up. Spoke to work mates who went to other places and they did either face to face or online and found this method heaps better.

I was at the construction induction (White Card) training today, instructed by Jeff Spencer. I have completed this course previously as well as many other courses and inductions.

This course was very well run and although I have experience, I learnt a few things.

Got ripped off by blue dog. Was supposed to do an online assessment but never heard from them since. Waste of money. Never use them.

This course was very interactive and hands on. The tutor was awesome to learn from.better than my teacher s at high school. Recommend this place

Excellent Teaching, I had Greg for acquiring and getting my White card and he went above and beyond for everyone in the class not only in professionalism but knowledge and skills and tricks, and making sure everyone had a good understanding and knowledge of the introduction to the worksite. All while having a good time and a laugh here and there.

I would definitely recommend to anybody interested, easy and very knowledge gaining.

A female instructor that did the 23/4 8am session for White carding was extremely insightful. Taught me way more than I expected and makes sure you are fully aware of safety protocol.

Excellent communication with assessor. The course material was very engaging and was easy to follow and complete. Definitely recommend Blue Dog to other working professionals looking to upskill. My assessor, Kevin, was great and helped me through my course.

I took the evening White card course in Maroochydore with Vince and it was great. Easy to follow, he kept the content engaging and entertaining as well as applicable to why we were all there. Thank you for the great experience!

The instructor couldn't get the projector in the council hall to work, but was a genuinely good bloke who was always up for a chat. He knows how the system works and made the process very, very efficient.

The exam wasn't hard, so long as you read the material properly. The group oral wasn't bad either. Just come prepared with a number of hazards and PPEs incase some one says yours. Other than that, clean space, air conditioned, all was good. Parking was a bit tricky, though.

I did my white card course with blue dog Training and it was fantastic. I chose to do the Wednesday night course and I'm glad I did, the trainer was very helpful and informative. Just generally a good bloke and up for a chat. He made the whole experience feel less like a daunting classroom exercise.

I’ve done a couple online courses but this was by far the easiest to understand, best put together and can navigate with ease. Having the show me button on each question is so much less frustrating than watching a 1 minute video on a question you already know the answer too. Normally the course would make you watch a video then answer the question. This is way smarter. Customer support was awesome, I even got a courtesy call right after I applied from a human (not a computer) who told me I could call that number if I had any troubles. I spoke to the same person every time I called which was also great cause I didn’t need to catch up the person each time I called. I’d love to write a bit of constructive criticism but honestly I can’t think of any.
