Was recommended to try these guys out while looking for a BJJ club to attend and train at. Wasn't the closest option for us but definitely seemed to be the best option.

Warm and friendly atmosphere, one of the first gyms I’ve attended where there is hand shaking between all who are present (not mandatory) yet a nice touch. Patient and equiped instructors, Aaron is one whom connects so well to each individual. Watching this place grow is a huge honour, who knows what’s next for this place. I have trained at southside bjj for about 7-8 months. It has been one of the best decisions I have made. Everybody is super friendly, encouraging and push you to be better. I loved it so much my daughter now also trains there. Sarah and VC are like family.

My son started doing Jiu Jitsu at Ormeau about two and a half months ago and from the very beginning everyone was helpful and welcoming. Over this time he has learnt so much and is always keen to go to classes. I would recommend these guys to anyone wanting to join jiu jitsu.

Southside is far more then a club, it’s a family, with excellent, patient, caring Coaches who carefully guide kids, youths and adults to be the best they can be, my daughter has been going there a year and a half and started as a shy 5yr old, who is now growing into a strong independent girl with skills she’l take and use through out her life, cant recommend Southside BJJ high enough

Overweight and hadn't trained in along time. Didn't want to go! My wife made me at first.found every excuse not to go. I'm just sore all the time lol but am enjoying the re-awakening. Coach V, Sarah and everyone else has made me feel welcome and part of the Southside family. Looking at joining my family soon. Now I want to go to training. Still a long road ahead but as they say "A journey of a thousand miles starts with but a single step! " Oosss!
