I have been going to Bike Central for years now. They do an amazing job every time on my bike and are just the most loveliest, honest and professional people to deal with.
I recommend both Bike purchases and service from this fantastic bike Shop.

Here is my experience with this shop and my feedback for them

Three years ago (2019) I bought a $100 bike at Kmart for my fiancée. At the time, I didn't have the possibility to park it in a safe place and I was forced to leave it tied up on the street ️ So such a cheap bike was perfect for that purpose.

In these three years we have found a better home and now we have the possibility to keep the bicycles in a safe place ️
In fact, we recently were even thinking that was the moment to upgrade the bicycles and buying a better quality product, and we had seen some interesting offers from 99Bikes in Ashmore (because close to our new house).

On 06/04/2022 I was having a problem with the rear wheel bearing on the aforementioned $100 bike, and I went to Bike Central as it is closer to my workplace.
The repair was done in one day at a fair cost of $20 total

The next day, when I went to collect the wheel with my girlfriend, we took a look at the bicycles on display in the shop

As we had just received good service from Bike Central, we had changed our mind and wanted to buy the new bicycles there.
More specifically, a couple of new electric bicycles for the price of $3,300 each.
Being in a hurry, we decided to return there in the near future to choose more calmly.

Unfortunately few weeks later, on 27/04/2022 the aforementioned $100 bike had a puncture in the same rear wheel The tread, very worn by the time, was completely torn?

After verifying that the spare parts were not available neither at Kmart nor at BigW I decided, in order not to waste time and in consideration of the honest service received the previous time, I decided to return to Bike Central.

Unfortunately they could not carry out the repair on the spot because the tire was not available, it had to be ordered from the supplier and still had to wait for the shop owner to finish his convalescence.

Not in a hurry, I was fine with this terms, and I left the wheel there for repair and my phone number.

This morning 05.05.2022 I was finally contacted by the shop informing me that the wheel was ready.

I went back to the shop this afternoon.

Once at the checkout I was seriously surprised by the final price of $69 (SIXTY-NINE! If I knew it before, for $30 more I would have bought another new $100 bicycle at Kmart).

When I asked for an explanation, I was told that the price was divided into $19 for material and $50 for labor costs.

I honestly believe that $50 in labor to change a tire (for which I had to wait almost ten days) is excessive, especially considering the fact that the previous repair on the bearing made on 06.04.2022 (which requires much more working time and expertise than changing a tire) had cost me $ 20 ‍️

I am honestly not happy with the treatment I received today I feel I've been teased

After this experience I changed my mind and I will go to invest my $6600 at 99Bikes

Have bought a beach cruiser bike here before and absolutely loved it the team here are great and the best customer service, I recently had to get my bike seat fixed and it was done within the hour I was very happy with the quick service so would highly recommend bike central,

Bike Central have looked after us a number of times with great customer service and knowledge. We most recently upgraded our daughters bike, and they were happy for her to test out a few bikes, riding them along the pathway outside. The worst bike shop I have ever been to for such a simple broken spoke call them up they said they can fix it drop it off get a phone call that they can’t turn up to pick it up it’s all in pieces in a plastic bag pretty shows they don’t know what they are doing I take it back to my normal bike shop he goes to put it back together and notice broken parts I call these guys up and get sworen up and lied to saying they didn’t break it and it must of been me or the other bike shop the worse bike shop I have ever dealt with DO NOT GO THERE

Fortunately I walked into this store at 7 minutes to four in the afternoon with a flat tyre and facing a 15km walk home.
This guy wasn’t able to fix it for me as it was too close to his closing time of 4.00 p.m.
But thankfully on the long walk home this old guy by the name of Berkey was on his way home on his bike and saw my flat tyre.
He took me back to the store called Pave Cyclery in Miami!
Berky and Stuey are a couple of legends and fixed my tyre quick smart.
They are specialist mechanics for all the tricky stuff.
Good lesson in life when a door shuts in your face it’s because a better one is about to open.

Don't look any further, this is the place to head for all things bike related. One quick example: Bought a bike light which malfunctioned after a year (most likely due to rust from riding near ocean). Took it back in, they were out of stock but offered a replacement when they got new ones in a couple days, an arrangement I was very happy with.

To make things even better the staff member (Rodney) loaned me the light off his own personal bike for the interim, and when I commented how much better it was and said I'd like to upgrade he said, "Just keep mine. " I offered my sweet prince money, eventually demanding he take it, but alas he simply refused on all occasions. I promised to return with a can of Lynx Africa (the scent of the Gods) as a gift, a promise I am yet to keep but vow I will fulfill.tl;dr: Bike Central is the light of my life, quite literally.

What a helpful place this is, I needed my saddle and steering wheel tightened on a bike that didn't come from this store and got the best service without having to pay, couldn't be happier as getting things for free these days is rare, thx guys
