BIG W Upper Mt Gravatt

My friend and I were casually shopping looking for a present for five-year-old girl when four workers kept
giving us dirty looks and checking us out. They were staring at us for multiple minutes after a bit we tried leaving and they followed us out and looked through our bags with out any permission. One of the workers were staring at my sanitary products. They savaged through our belongings. We are only 13 and 14 year olds and they were adults following us around and checking us out.we were very anxious by them following us. After a few moments of stepping out they were still checking us out. We are minors this shouldn’t be happening.

I visited big w at Chermside saw a discounted vacuum cleaner. 99 to 57. Went home and discussed purchase with the other. We went to big w at mount gravatt to buy. There is a major difference in discounting between big w stores. Huge! 99 to 69. So we didn't buy. Reviews on the item were more bad than good anyway but
the price difference on principal made us defer. Westfield garden City even had different parking fees and rates. This big w item is not available to view online, doesn't exist! So we have two words to say to garden City parking and big w and they're not pretty.

I went to this shop Tuesday (March 29 afternoon) and went to baby section. Looking for someone who can help me as I need to get pram, car seat and nappies and Some baby items I came to see the guy who’s wearing glasses and I asked him if he can help me as I have no idea what I am actually getting to be honest for our first baby. But the guy JOSH doesn’t know what his doing/telling me by describing the items. It’s frustrating to see him looks lost and looking in a hurry. I understand he have his job to finish on time. But hey come on. As a customer I/we deserved to get a good customer service so, the guy left without letting me know. And I saw the lady wearing long sleeve dress blue colour came and happily approached me. Very patient she knew what she’s talking about and when I’d asked her if she’s staff here, she said yeah. So, she managed to help me and give me a different options to the items am looking for. She managed to put a smile on my face as I’m having a very busy and bad day since morning. She is a a funny lady and My wife and our baby is home today and my wife and I are happy about car seat and pram. BIG THANK YOU TO THE LADY IN BLUE DRESS ON THAT DAY. I don’t know her name as she don’t have badge. Thats the reason why I give 5 stars to my review. BIG W Garden City.do yourself a favour, please do not put a person to the area where he doesn’t have knowledge at all. No patience, don’t know what customer service means. CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS PRIORITY NO MATTER WHAT.

Came in on a saturday morning and was helped by Jaret? And Susan. I was experiencing tech issue when trying to use afterpay instore. Both of them were super helpful and patient. Huge thumbs up to them both.

Need more attention to some areas. My wife and I always go to this shop to buy baby stuffs and the lady who is always happened to be there every time we need someone is incredibly energetic and it seems like always full of energy. She is funny, have sense of humour and definitely perfect to where she is. She know her area about babies stuffs.from nappy to pram and can give a good advice and opinion. But we don’t know her name but on Tuesday we finally found out her name after more than a year she’s assisting us. Because that’s the first time we saw her wearing name badge. Her name is Leya. She is very helpful even to some areas wherever she is. And I remembered where my wife and I are in the kitchen area she is holding something and looking very busy but she still approached us if we need help even though she’s definitely the one need help as she’s pulling heavy boxes and boxes. She didn’t leave us till she find someone who can assist us. 5 star to that energetic lady.

I'm liking the bra's and panties at Big W, I wish they would have more stock and a little bit tidier.

Big W mt Gravatt was the best I ever tried and the management could not do enough to help you out and staff was friendly and helpful and can't fault of this place I be back

Large store with a good range of products. The staff at the returns/service counter have apparently had a bad day every day.

Still a nice big store for its age. Staff are great and are happy to stop what they're doing and help.

Big W at Garden City is very good. I would go more often if they had them in suburbs but closed down Calamvale one & I won't travel to Garden City just to go to Big W - a lot of my friends say same!

So rude. Chasing up my online order I made nearly 7 hours ago. 1st call they answered the phone and put me through to the service desk where it the went unanswered. Tried calling back 6 times and not once did they answer the phone again after ringing out each time. Shop Online they say. Click and collect they say. Hassle-free, quick and easy they say. Mmmmmm Never again.

Rude staff and very poor communication.if u go for return definitely they will treat you as they want.

Handy to be in a Westfield & well stocked for everything needed from kitchen, laundry & clothes it's a one stop shop. Reasonable prices & handy for getting what you need

It has a decent range of everything you'd expect to a Big W store but I was disappointed in the plant nursery section. Not a great variety to choose from. They also sell the Brunnings brand fertiliser and potting mixes and they are shocking products

Security at the front accused me of stealing the Item I came into the store with to return (had my receipt). Granted, it was silly to leave without having done the return but there should be procedures in place to check (maybe look at the monitor). I felt phyically intimidated by the security clerk and was not allowed to leave. There was poor comminication between the store members, security staff, and the manager - leaving me in a bind. No one deserves to be treated with such animosity - particularly without proof.

I will add that the manager did eventually resolve the issue, and was courteous. Perhaps better training and support in loss prevention for all team members would resolve this.

One of the staff members named Layley (not sure if spelling correct) was spying on us while we were shopping, hiding behind racks and following us. She also very rudely said not no touch anything (she meant only touch the things you will actually buy, nothing else). She kept following us to check that. I have never seen any staff in any shopping place, behaving like that. We told one other staff member and they said its her job. So, its her job to insult customers?

Women's clothing section is very disorganised and price labels and signs are far and few between. I mainly like this store for its garden section.

Tried the big 3: Kmart, Target and Big W.
Guess which store had what I was looking for?
Taking into account stock levels under the current circumstances, Big W is a winner.
