Good size store but unfortunately they don't have the trousers for me, couldn't find a staff member who was on the floor.

Great choices, friendly staff, the girl in the make up section, went out of her way to go out the back and get me what I needed. She was lovely

Christmas shopping at Chermside.
Big W seemed well stocked and I bought what I needed. Self serve available, but I chose to see a human being on the checkout, and she was very helpful, and friendly.
It wasn't too hectic and the store was well lit and with a comfortable room temperature to make shopping pleasurable.
I'll be back soon

Horrible service trying to return something, really disappointing considering this is a worldwide shop.

We had technology issues throughout the purchases and during a busy rush.despite that, the staff managed to handle the issues and made us feel welcome! Thank u!

Went to the party section today. Girl working was rude and asked her colleague to serve me, who was having his lunch (didn’t even sanitise his hands) before touching my baby’s balloon. We live in a current climate where sanitisation is so important. Especially after licking your fingers

Every item fully stocked. Including toilet paper and water through this whole entire time of covid. Would recommend big w chermside to anyone staff are so friendly and offer assistance even when you least expect it.

My family has shopped here for years but I've actually had 2 quite negative experiences with customer service at this store recently. Trying to use the self check out this evening - I had 3 items - and my not quite 2 year old didn't want the checkout to have her toy she wanted it and disrupted the weight/bagging system. Silly me thought it could be fixed with one simple override but apparently this woman had to override it each time this happened and then spat at me 'I have other people to help not just you' Wow. Another occasion I was questioned over a return when the product had quite literally fallen to pieces. So disappointing as the guys in the balloon/party section demonstrate customer service excellence, as do the tech/photo guys. Sort it out management.

I bought a bag of kitty litter full price only to discover on the way home it had a tear that had been taped over. I called in to see what could be done and was told I would have to go all the way back in to exchange or get a few dollars discount. This would cost me an extra $6 or more in bus fees to fix. Which is a third of the price of the kitty litter. Ultimately not worth my time or money. I’m very unhappy with the attempt to offer a solution to this problem.

Haven't shopped here for awhile. But got everything I went in for plus a couple of extra bargains as well.

Ordered a bike before xmas, expecting 1-2 weeks as we were told, after 6 weeks we called to see what was going on, they say they have no record of our bike (lucky we kept the receipt). So it gets reordered and my wife picks it up today. Firstly it's the wrong colour, it is also missing the kickstand and the bell because they are considered "not very masculine" (these were the team member's exact words). Extremely disappointed in the way the whole sale was handled from start to finish, would not recommend anyone shop here.

Excellent service by the ladies in Big W. This morning. We were on the hunt for specific items and the ladies at reception, childrens toys and Eira came up trumps. It has made our day. Thank you. If there is a pay rise due then pay it today.

Big W Online prices are always cheaper. Why would you bother to go to the store. Yeah I suppose if you don't care about the value of your money!

Good value items. Good staff. Good variety. Just wish they would get rid of made in China rubbish. It definitely downgrades the overall quality.

Big W has a standard format to which it holds up to expectations.

Fairly good. Just a shame they have a daily limited range of TVs and Dyson's. Good for lots of different items. Pays to check stock levels online before going.

Nice shop and prices are pretty cheap or comparable to other similar types of shops. I personally prefer the old set up of the shop and variety stocks available.

To be told by a staff member standing in the balloon section that they were understaffed and wouldn’t be able to do a balloon…? To have driven over to chermside specifically for this. How rude! Not understaffed, just undertrained and she couldn’t care less. Rude! Don’t advertise open til 6 if you aren’t.
