Best fish and chips by far in Brisbane. Ordered the crumbed salmon, chips, kabana, and chips. Husband and I finished it instantly. Happy tummy. Value for money as well. We will definitely come back. Yums!

The food is delicious. Tried crumped and grilled fish, both were absolutely on point. Staff were kind and friendly, promptly accommodating our special request. We'll definitely be back again!

Classic Australian takeaway joint, had a burger with a lot, haven't had one that good for decades. Great value.

For a while now I've been coming into jims, I have never been disappointed. It has become atleast a fortnightly staple, with a huge burger the lot for $10.90 and a hamburger for $7.40 it's a great price for some great and filling burgers.

Jim is always happy to have a yarn and advice on what's good at the moment. An absolutely pleasure to purchase from and the foods still great once I get it home. Highly recommend

WOWWW.this food is beyond amazing. The selection of fish and chips but even more the selection of desserts (Greek custard, tiramisu, Nutella slice, apple pie, rice pudding, baklava, chocolate mousse and more), I've never seen such an amazing range. But more than that, this is by far the best tiramisu I've EVER had in my life (including in Italy)! And the whole family loves the fish and chips. This is quite an extraordinary gem of Brisbane. Highly recommend for all! Well done Jim:)

I drive all the way from the Gold Coast just for this place. I'm working my way through the menu, and I'm yet to find something I didn't like. If you're looking for a proper take away shop, this is the one.you won't be disappointed!

Asked for no salt on chips, but came covered in salt. Owner was more interested in interrogating a lady on the street taking pictures. He demanded to know who she was and why she was taking pictures. Paranoid and confrontational.

Excellent fry shop. The chips will be served golden and crispy. The burger will be almost too thick to bite through. A little bit crowded when you step in and when you step out there's shade and views of gardens. He's a friendly Greek fellow behind the counter.

Legend. Huge hamburgers the old way. Lovely polite man plenty of food. His wife cooks home style pastas etc. Bloody great.

Jim's is awesome. Been here forever. I love the seasoning he puts in his burgers. Good chips too.

Always great food, quick and friendly service. They can get quite busy, and there aren't a lot of places to sit, but the food is usually worth the wait.
