On the 23 dec- I was served by a LOVELY lady. I accident paid the full price when I wanted to do after pay and she helped it go back through right away and made the process quick and effective and she was just overall so lovely so thank you again xx

Ordered over $300 worth of clothes. Nothing fit in my size. When it came to return I had to pay postage and a bag to put it in. That is absolutely ridiculous, no other company has made me pay and certainly not when it’s not my fault you sizing can’t fit bigger gusted girls. Get better

I visited the showroom on Friday to try on a dress for my engagement party - the best retail experience I’ve ever had. Every staff member that came through the showroom were so lovely. Leena was such a beam of light and so helpful. She made it so fun to try on all the dresses I was interested in, and I didn’t feel like I was taking up too much of her time either. The clothes are great quality for the price too. So thankful for this wonderful team!

Impeccable service from the ladies that work here, i walked in not knowing they weren’t fully open yet and they let me try on dresses until i found what i was looking for! Extremely happy with the dress i bought and again, workers were amazing!

Always had good experiences with BB - next day shipping, very good quality clothing, easy returns and pleasant customer service. Prices are reasonable and sizing is accomodating for smaller girls like me. You’ve got a long term, happy customer here:)

Terrible service. Try to get a return number within 4 days - you can’t! You have to chase customer service for weeks. They then won’t provide a refund, only a gift card because it wasn’t done in time. Terrible quality, Chinese junk!

My order was lost in transit and I had no idea and there order got completely cancelled BUT Michelle (from customer service) literally saved me! She reordered and sent it out for same day delivery. She was so lovely and an amazing help. Also have never been disappointed with anything I've gotten from here:) Thank you Michelle!

I've shopped with BB a lot mainly because they are one of the few that offer ZIP pay which is great for students. I have had a few issues with not receiving items that I'd paid for and they were super apologetic for the mishaps. After realising 1 of the missing items would be a tad smaller after trying on a similar product I'd received, they were fantastic by sending the size larger without me having to reorder.

I've read a lot of poor reviews that have happened a year and over ago and can say that their customer service has dramatically improved. I usually do bulk orders with having to return roughly 50% of my order because as we all know shopping online is not fun being a female body. But the return process was extremely easy and have never had any issues.

Great work BB Team, stepping up your game in the quality of your products and customer service. Keep it up:)

This is the first time I have rated an online clothing company 5 stars. I first purchased from them around over a year ago, and then again this year.
I appreciate this company as they have excellent communication, on time delivery, a great return/refund policy, good quality clothing, will help you choose the correct size and personally have a look at the garments for you and all around just a good attitude towards customers.
And they are a Brisbane based company (from where I can see they ship from) it's also nice to know I'm supporting a local boutique rather then a large online retailer.

I ordered a $90 playsuit from Beginning Boutique to wear whilst I was on holiday. Within a few hours of wear it ripped causing me quite a bit of embarrassment. I emailed customer care and they refused to refund me on the basis that I had worn it. I was unhappy to accept this because if it is faulty it is irrelevant whether or not I've worn it. As far as I'm concerned, it's reasonable to assume that a $90 item should last more than one wear. They told me that it was not a major fault and they’d only pay for me to get it repaired. They expected me to go and get it fixed when I’m on holiday regardless of the fact that they’ve sold me a faulty item and should be refunding me. I would advise that everyone got to the ACCC and lodge a dispute as companies like this should not get away with this sort of treatment. From my experience and reading other reviews it appears they’re only interested in helping when they want your money. I’m not even convinced they’re interested in compliance with ACCC obligations. I’m really disappointed with the service and also the quality of the clothes and will never be shopping here again.

Very disappointing. I ordered a playsuit from beginning boutique and after one wear I discovered it had ripped and that I had been walking around like that for the last few hours. I promptly contacted customer services about the issue and was told that I wasn't entitled to a refund because I had already worn the item. This makes no sense as I am not requesting a refund for change of mind. Regardless of whether or not I have worn it, the item is clearly faulty or unfit for purpose, especially given the ridiculously high price point. I was subsequently told they would only pay for me to get the item repaired regardless of the fact that I was away on holiday and disappointed that I wasn't able to wear my new outfit there for which I had bought especially. They clearly don't care about their customers as they happily expect me to waste my holiday running around finding somewhere to repair an item that was faulty. I wouldn't go near these people with a barge pole.

Left my purchase to the last minute. Ordered 9am one day, and delivered 12pm the next day! Between BB and Auspost, super happy with how quick I got my items.

BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT PURCHASE

I purchased an item which arrived to me faulty with the stitching coming loose. When wearing the garment it was obvious the stitching was loose making it unwearable. Upon returning the item Beginning Boutique refused to refund my money as they didn’t see the fault as worthy of a refund. If I’m paying good money for something I expect it to be in perfect condition and if it’s not any normal business would refund the purchase amount.

UPDATE:

Whilst I was eventually refunded my money after having argued with the staff - I received this warning:

Please keep in mind that Australian Consumer Law states the following with regard to minor faults (i.e. Problems that can easily be fixed).
You can ask a business for your preference of a free repair, replacement or refund, but you are not always entitled to one. If you have a minor problem with a product or service, the business can choose to give you a free repair instead of a replacement or refund.

So be aware - refunds are extremely hard to get back from this retailer.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO RISK RECEIVING FAULTY ITEMS.

Terrible company. The items they send you are not what you see in the picture. I received a dress nothing like what the picture represents. They won't refund you. Do not trust this company.

SHOCKING customer service.

Steer clear and try using a more MODERN business with a less rigid and less ridiculous returns service.

Going by the latest posts by others on here, I am not the only unsatisfied customer that wishes they hadn’t spent a single cent towards a totally unsympathetic and uncaring brand.

They really couldn’t give a flying f*** about customer satisfaction.

I stopped purchasing from here a couple of years ago when I realised how much more they were charging for the same item than other Australian clothing websites.

But after seeing a couple of seemingly unique dresses on their site, I decided to express post to wear one for New Years.
Biggest mistake.
Shocking quality, itchy material and a laughable returns policy.

Honestly overpriced junk.

Will be surprised to see this company going the distance when their customer service is lacking so badly.

Can't fault their customer service - always incredibly fast and upon receiving an order with an item missing (first occurrence) this was rectified within two hours of first getting in touch.
