Beefy's Gympie

Highly recommend, came in early morning passing through Gympie and the male employee provide amazing, positive customer service read back my order, double checked if I need anything else and even amazing with my added requests. He was also training a new member and provided such a positive learning environment. Shout out to him, sorry I didn't grab your name.

The food that was delicious, I ordered potato top pie with peas and gravy, the pie was fresh, proper meat pieces and not over gelatine texture. The toppings did not disappoint!
I also ordered a signature steak pie with chips and American sauce, they cooked the chips fresh the steak pie is not to be over looked it was delicious!

The iced late - 1shot, I can say their coffee beans are delicious and robust enough that it strong enough without ordering an extra shot and I'm a heavy coffee drinker, highly recommend!

Overall highly recommend, great customer service and the food is delicious.

Pies and mushy peas the best you will get. But not very impressed with sweets one time was frozen in the middle

The guy serving in Beefy's gympie is consistently lovely. Even when it's hectic and there's problems, he's genuinely cheerful and attentive. Keep up the good work on the delightful gluten free pastry and friendly service!

Disappointed, got told and sore signs advertising beefys gluten free pies so found the next beefys and and ordered gluten free signature beef Pies. Pies came in mass produced packaging, flat pies with small chunks of mince and gravy. It needed more seasoning, tasted like some good bits of beef mixed with tail meat. I’m actually surprised to hear myself say that the gluten free pies Woolworths sell are so much tastier and usually cheaper too. They also have a chicken option. I’ll not be visiting a beefys again and I won’t recommend it to anyone not worth the money.

I ordered 1pink kiddy pie? And when I bit into it a tape worm crowded down my throat, and now he's living in there!

The pies were great if it wasn’t for the customer service from Leanne we would have given beefy’s a 5 star review. However Leanne was rude, sour faced and generally unwelcoming and seemed to be highly inconvenienced by us entering the premises and ordering food and drink. Her attitude wasn’t just reserved for customers, she treated all the other staff in a similar manner and I am amazed that they managed to keep a pleasant demeanour with her and all the customers.

Leanne would be better suited to washing dishes or at least in a non customer facing role.

Pies were very good. Had the kidney. Flavour was great. Crust was an excellent combination of crunchy and soft. Only thing it was missing were the kidney chunks.
Kids had a cheese and bacon sausage roll. They were OK. Massive but not nearly as flavoursome as the pie. Keen to try the proper sausage rolls.

Great pies, my 5 year old also said it was the best sausage roll he has had too.the chips with the American cheese were amazing. Higky recommend stopping in for a bite

On Wednesday 23rd November we called in to Beefy’s Gympie just prior to closing time. We were met by a cheerful young man but then served by a sour faced very rude young lady who felt the necessity to point out to us that she had closed the till 30 seconds ago - all we wanted was 5 frozen pies. If this is the same rude person others have complained about, please take action!
On another note. Your pies are amazing!

We saw a billboard on the highway which made us hungry for Queensland Best Pie. GPS led us to the bakery tucked up high next to a servo. We were not disappointed. The lady at the counter was really friendly.

Best pie and chips I've ever tasted, without a doubt. Gluten free options are amazing. Fast friendly service and a clean shop too.

I found the pies were good pending on what you get, but for the price you pay I was expecting alot more.

Unfortunately, like many food places, the quality of food steadily goes down. Of the last two pies i had from here and they definitely are my last, one was so dry it needed to be reconstituted the last pie has taken me 24 hours to get over and I'm still feeling crook. Won't be back.

Grabbed a 5 pack, havent tried them yet, had one of the mini ones, snack on way back to brizzy, pretty good

Very busy, the line up was out of the door. Totally worth our short wait. Staff remained focused yes professional and we got out gluten free pies and continued in our journey. Yummy

Love the beefy's pies in Gympie. The staff are amazing & the shop is spacious, clean & fresh. Steak & kidney pies delicious & full & sausage rolls divine.

Beefys is a classic. It's a must stop when you are travelling through Gympie if you are a pie lover.
Steak and pepper is a winner and free sauce is amazing. Truly the best pie in Queensland.

Heard about these pies and thought they were probably exaggerating regarding how good they were. They were superb. So fresh, full of meat and lovely crispy pastry. Sooooo good.

The pies are amazing.
Customer service was far below par.
Felt like we were rushed and were the only customers in there, the lady was quite rude. A smile also wouldn't hurt.
Hope to find a cheerful smiling face next time we return.

They have billboards along the road saying they are the the best pies in Queensland: after trying them I am forced to conclude they are correct. I had a meat lovers pie and it was great with lots of different meats. I got a value meal and the serving of chips was generous as too was the chicken salt. My partner got an apple turnover which was magnificent. Well worth a stop! Has a bar table and stools if you want a sit down meal.
