BCF (Boating Camping Fishing) Rothwell

I was served by Cameron, he helped me buy 2 life jackets for my younger siblings and was super helpful and informative. Was a great and quick experience.

Arrive at BCF at 17: 05 to fill LPG bottle and was told they already pack up for 15: 30 and if need gas refill need to be there at 15: 00 witch is not stated on there website. Driving out petrol unnecessary.

Came in today just to have a look at a fridge with no real intent on purchasing it today. I am extremely satisfied with the customer service received from Craig he went to great lengths to help work out a deal I was happy with and ended up selling me a fridge will definitely be back

Amazing service. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the blokes' name but sold me a new rod, reel, gear, and a hat. He was very knowledgeable on the product and offered great pointers and encouraging advice, I've never fished up here, so that was very nice of him.

Asked him where we can get some fish and chips and where the best place to go fishing was. He sent us right by the beach, which is one of his favourite fishing spots.

Got there, had some decent tucker, cast out near where he told us to go (I have never beach fished), and the fish were on the bite instantly. Hooked a few, caught a couple, and got smoked by more. We had a great arvo fishing.

Thanks heaps to this mob and especially to him, recommend visiting them. I'm sure I'll be back next time I visit Brisbane.

I had about the best customer service experience I've had in any place in years. Thank you to Lee for taking the time to advise me on the correct gear for the style of fishing I do. His knowledge is incredible! Also thank you to the lady on the counter who was also wonderful and friendly. Absolutely my go to place for my fishing gear now.

First time in this store since they had a re-fit, looks amazing for a retail store still going through Boxing Day sales. Items were easy to find, prices were good & loving the new range!

Went in for a light board this morning. Staff were super helpful and lovely to deal with 10/10 service.

Legitimately the best service my partner and I have experienced at BCF. We were instantly greeted with a welcoming attitude, and staff were beyond helpful and friendly! It was almost shocking (in a good way), because out of all the BCFs we’ve been to from Gold Coast to North Brisbane we have not had a positive experience.

I came in with my partner and haad alot of help this afternoon from Riley at BCF Rothwell. I am very happy with the service as he is very knowledgeable and very helpful with all fishing gear, camping gear etc. I would definitely recommend to ask him if you have any queries you may have as he really knows his stuff. He is also very good to talk to and very friendly.

Service at this store is awesome there are 2 young guys that bend over backwards for there customer's.

Too many products, you could easily spend all day in this gigantic shop, mostly good value for good quality. Easy parking and they recharge propane gas cylinders, a much cheaper way to get your gas. Easy parking.

I had really great service today whilst getting my two gas bottles refilled, the lady behind the counter was very helpful (brown hair can't remember her name) and so was the guy who filled up my gas bottles. Just such a genuinely lovely person, he seemed so nice and cheery after having a chat with him, just genuinely appeared to love his job, couldn't wipe the smile off his face, good on him! He should be recognized for the wonderful job he's doing. I didn't catch his name but he was tall and had very light blonde hair, worn up in a man bun, much appreciate the lovely customer service I received today, 5 stars from me, would recommend

Always happy when I come here everyone is very helpful but I have to say a massive thank you to the assistant supervisor/manager Dana who has looked after me twice now when I've had to return something, very understanding and empathetic which is something of a rarity these days

Fishing fantastic. Camping fantastic. Boating.good. Kayaks are heavily advertised as it a growing pastime, however they really lack in replacement parts, this is particularly alarming when they dont stock replacement parts for the kayaks that they sell. They do have a small selection of generic parts.
Store setout is somewhat confusing, for example you cannot shop in the one section for kayaks. You have to walk around the 'boating' section. Here for anchors from the ocenliner to the zodiac. Then walk over to another section for a kayak anchor rope 5mm nylon to plastic chain Then walk over to another section for kayak trolling motors petrol thru to electric. Then walk over to another section for kayak paddles single end, doubles, oars. Then to the section that sells boat seats, kayak seats and so on. You cant go to the KAYAK section and buy KAYAK equipment. You must know EXACTLY what you want as they have nobody experienced in kayaking, helpful and friendly staff that arent sure what you are talking about.
Overall a great store, just know what you want before you arrive and wear comfortable walking shoes as youll be walking back n forth covering some distance looking for what you're after.

My husband bought a pair of sunglasses in January & the tint was lifting, they exchanged them because we are members & didn't need the receipt because it's all on record plus excellent service

All products have been very good quality I have bought a lot of their products and never had any trouble with any of them great variety and there one day specials are extremely good I I prefer to pick up my purchases from Brendale four-wheel drive super centre that way you do not have to pay for delivery and it is quite close staff are excellent and you can barter with them with the price if you buy more than one item which I like I have saved a lot that way
