Barr Street Markets

The store itself is great. There is so much on offer however on a couple of occasions the pharmacist Jason I believe has been quite rude which is a little disappointing.

Wonderful service at the Pharmacy inside the markets. I booked in for my influenza shot, for 2.45pm, arrived early, 210pm, quite happily got me through for my needle, quick, prompt, friendly staff, minimal wait, love it, early in and out, Yay

This place has the absolute best pharmacy. I love coming here, has aisle after aisle of so many beautiful things along side what you'd normally expect to see. There's just about everything you could imagine. Love it!

Have been shopping at the whole health market since it opened. Love the increasing range of health foods and supplements available. Staff are AMAZING, very helpful and friendly. Sometimes go to Hopscotch for coffee but have never bought from butcher as we a vegetarian household.
Only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is the specials (or marked down goods). They are almost always out of date and only reduced slightly. Would be lovely to pick up a bargain when food still in date. Normally almost out-of-date goods are 30-60% off or more in bigger supermarkets.
But overall, our family love this market and would recommend.

I love this place, I couldn't find an all inclusive place for vegan foods. There is a wide variety of both dry and fresh goods. Prices are relatively expensive but justifiable. Parking is both available inside and outside of the building. The only con is that their size of the cart is pretty small to do groceries.

Service is ok, though waiting over an hour for food is ridiculous. And the flies, they're EVERYWHERE! Never coming back again. Not happy

Lovely dining and the healthfood section is affordable with many things you can't buy elsewhere

Fantastic wonderland of quality dining, meats, health products etc - however, be warned - while attentive, we found the staff across various businesses in the markets all attempted the obvious hard upsell, making the experience less enjoyable

Unreal place I go here every Saturday best burgers I've ever had great food excellent health food shop fasting Cairns great Medical Centre chemist new butcher coming in very soon I heard mighty Meats this place will only go forward they have some of the best business man in town and women buying them together to make a really Topshop well done 10 out of 10

First Time Visit! Huge place and fairly pleasant shop attendants, very helpful. Going to visit again lots of very different health products.

Sadly there wasnt much there and was expensive for many items. Butcher didnt even have prices on an cuts of meat. Disappointed.

I love Barr Street Markets! The restaurants are great. Plenty of car parks when I go there and I love shopping there.

Great selection of whole and organic foods, excellent butcher premium and gourmet meats and dry aged beef options.

Really just a large chemist with a lot of health foods but mainly all frozen and the cafe's are only for meateaters the smells were terrible

Finally a place in Australia that out performs the Melbourne shops in terms of shops that provide supplements and quality vitamins, clean whole food products, bulk purchasing, great butcher, clean chemical free cleaning products, kits for yogurt and kefir, essential oils. Thank you! It's about time Australia. You just need to add organic clean produce and it's all covered here!

Very good coffee, great location for coffee out side, with nice breeze, quite, good for my Jack Sparrow, and away from smelly vehicles. Good place for bike and trailer.

My God.the lady who served me my turmeric latte was very rude to myself and my work colleague.we both felt like she grunted through the service with us.not sure if I'll go back there.hope it's a one off.

Not good at all. I expected a lot from this place but it was not as good as I thought it would be. I bought a little bottle of kombucha on special for $8 I thought it was a great deal, until I got home opened it even though I was careful not to shake it i opened and it exploded everywhere none of the kombucha could be saved. I was very dissatisfied and almost angry that I got sold a ripped off bottle of kombucha. I do not plan to return to this shopping centre.

Love love love the butcher, the service and their meat is top notch! Very friendly they are the reason i gave five stars.

The Italian restaurant the food was great but the service is just average they got our order wrong and it took more than 30 mins before we got our meals. Their coffee is great too
