Very little in stock, had to push for everything and the staff member that served me was disinterested in helping me. Other staff were good though.

I would just like to say a big thank you to Meg, Charlotte, Zac and Matthew who all assisted me on my visit to Bailey Nelson to potentially find new glasses and sunnies. The service I received was second to none and I will be recommending BN to all those who will listen! Matthew was very thorough and explained everything during my eye exam, which I found very helpful. Charlotte helped me decide on which frames to settle on and I am so pleased with the selection! I cannot wait to start wearing them. Meg and Zac were just delightful from booking to completion. You are all superstars in my eyes! Thank you again!

A beyond pleasant experience, to the two guys that served my partner and I, and I was quote “such a vibe”, you made my day, a scratch that my week, actually honestly my year. I got my first pair of prescription lenses and now I can see. Highly recommend this place and the service if you as well, would like to see sometime!:)

Incredibly helpful team that assisted me with selecting great frames. The Optometrist was lovely and extremely patient with me as I kept asking to double check my selection.
The team then kindly put a package together to ensure maximum health insurance coverage too. Very happy as I have two new pairs of glasses and a new pair sunglasses for free. Highly recommend the wonderful team at the James Street, Fortitude Valley, Bailey Neilson store! Highly recommend a visit.

Bailey Nelson have a great range of frames at reasonable prices. Jess at the James street store was very helpful and patiently offered her opinion on each of the many frames I considered, which for someone as indecisive as me was really helpful. 5 star.

Wow, what a bunch of superstars- Robert, Wesley and the entire team made my experience at Bailey Nelson one I will not forget.

This being my first visit to an optician I wasn’t too sure what to expect. The team were able to speak to me in a language I could truely understand and gave me a detailed description of my own optical profile.

I will be recommending this store to all of my family and friends and I look forward to my next visit to the team on James St.

Bailey Nelson James St was an amazing experience! The front of house team were delightful to deal with, knowledgeable and made the experience from start to finish enjoyable. I stumbled across my eye test by talking with the owner of the practice on the street. He mentioned that the team would be able to help me out and that’s just what they did!
The optometrist herself was nothing but professional and genuine. She made what could be to some, an uncomfortable experience fun, educational and very easy.
And to top it all off, even though I did not need prescription glasses I couldn’t turn down their great quality and fashionable styled sunglasses.
I will be going back to Bailey Nelson James St for my annual check up and with any questions I have!

Absolutely sensational! Thanks so much guys. Called at 1050am on a busy day with an irritated eye (for the past after 24 hrs) and they squeezed me by 1130am only to pull a tiny piece of metal out of my eye, service was awesome and optometrist was so good! Very appreciative, thanks so much guys

The team at Bailey Nelson in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane Are AMAZING! So helpful and friendly, offering great service and value. Coming from Canada where prices are outrageous for glasses, I bought two pairs of glasses from B&N for less than half what I pay for a single pair in Canada. And they are better quality than the Pradas I had before these.

The staff working there were SO helpful friendly and knowledgeable on what frames to choose to suit me and felt very comfortable doing my eye test there. Fantastic customer service from start to finish. Always love my Bailey Nelson glasses too, great selection to choose from and good prices.

Booked an optometry appointment at the Bailey Nelson James Street store with the aim to get my first-ever glasses to help with my sight at work (with reading and computer work). The team there were all very helpful and educated me step by step during my eye test and throughout the results. When it came to selecting frames the manager at the store already had a few options selected out for me to choose from, to suit my face shape and eye colour. This made it both such a super fun and comfortable experience for me as a first-time glasses wearer. Very happy with the experience and will definitely be going back to update my frames when needed. First star service from an all-class team! Thank you.
