Visited today my son bought a beautiful cot and fitted sheet also waterproof sheet excellent service and prices and lovely showroom smelled divine would recommend to anyone looking for quality baby items. Make sure you have a wide long boot if buying a cot carton quite big and wide there is a young man who brings it to your car and puts it in boot

Had a relatively pleasant experience at the PBC expo, however once securing the deal, my experience has been dreadful.
Despite being told at the expo I would receive a call 2 days prior to delivery to confirm delivery date and time, this did not happen. I received an email at 4.40pm the day prior requiring me to request a last minute day off work. After all that, the item did not turn up, I contacted Babyhood, disappointed that I had been inconvenienced and they assured me that they will rectify this with the delivery company and wouldn't deliver the product until a week later on a day that suited me.

Despite this having been agreed with Babyhood, the items arrived on the next business day to my neighbours address, not even my own. I contacted Babyhood again to have this resolved. I heard nothing for over 24 hours, had the items sitting in my neighbours front yard which they needed moved so I had to source 2 people to move this for me myself. Then when I contacted Babyhood to let them know I've solved it myself they told me the freight company assured them they assisted - which they in fact did not! I never heard a peep from them!

I requested compensation from Babyhood for the inconvenience only to be told they can't afford it and it's not their fault it's their freight companies. Gone are the days of Customer Service! What a joke. They can't afford to compensate me, but I can afford to have to take a day off work and source people to move their products from the wrong address. Seems fair. *face palm*.

Absolutely phenomenal customer service at the Melbourne baby expo. Ally took time to explain and demo each product we had questions about (and we had so many!), was clear and patient. She didn’t try to just sell us the most expensive products, but really listened to exactly what we needed and wanted. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Worst experience dealing with this company.
For a family business their customer service is terrible. Faults with their online ordering system - double charging me then refusing to give me a refund, accusing me. What kind of company would refuse this refund?
Change mat has ruined my $700 dresser. States it can be placed on ANY surface, yet when only on my dresser a short time the colour has stained my dresser. They offer no help with this and reply nasty emails.
Would not recommend this company to anyone, has caused a-lot of stress and money to a new mum.
I wish I’d seen all the other 1 star reviews before purchasing. As others have said, Would give 0 stars if an option.

We have owned our babyhood stroller for over 3.5 years and still use it basically everyday. We have now added the second seat for our second baby. Our daughter still loves riding around in it. The frame is super sturdy, the materials are all superb quality. We love the pull out UV shelter/cover, especially whilst bubs is asleep. The stroller is easy to set up and back down. It can also be used with the Nuna capsule (with adapters). We are just sooo in love with our stroller could not of imagined anything better.

Spend your money elsewhere! I purchased a playpen with Babyhood, realised when I put it up that it didn't fit in my house at all, and took it down immediately (obviously didn't use it). I did my due diligence and called Babyhood to ask if I could bring it back and swap it for another one I knew they had in store, they said that would be fine. When my husband went to the store to do the swap they said that they charge 30% (!) of the sales price to check the box with the product to ensure everything was in there. This was NOT mentioned on the phone PRIOR to my husband making the long drive out there. I asked to speak to them on the phone and when I mentioned this they didn't even apologise to me. Disgusting to take such advantage of people with the high prices they already charge. With the abundance of stores in Australia that sell baby stuff, I would steer very clear of this one and spend my money with a store that has normal exchange policies and value their customers!

Edit to respond: tell me in what world you find it justifiable to charge 30% of an item to check the box? $10, maybe $15, but you're trying to tell me it takes more effort from you to check items that are more expensive? That's just an excuse to make more money off of people. Secondly, no your sales person did not recommend one playpen over the other, she showed us both. That neither here nor there since I never expect sales people to know my needs more than myself, but if you're going to make this situation fit your narrative I will comment on it.

Just purchased our nursery furniture from Babyhood at the Canberra Baby expo. Their service is extremely good and the quality of the products looks great! Can't wait for it to be delivered and set it all up!

Absolutely do not recommend Babyhood cots, in particular the Lulu cot. We unpacked ours and it has the worst chemical smell - even 3 days after unpacking. We had to disassemble it and put it in the garage. Babyhood say it is fumigation treatment smell and also the foam packaging residue on the wood. This is a product for a baby/young child. We were also told we couldn't return the product even though it is clearly faulty. We have lodged this with fair trading in QLD. Don't buy these cots - buy Boori they are much better and have no chemical smell once unpacked.
We see there are other reviews on here same as ours. We will also be reporting this to the relevant authorities, these cots should not be on the market.

Met the team at the Brisbane baby expo and they were extremely knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. Bought the Amani Sleigh Cot and we can’t wait to pick it up!
