Avondale Homestead Tavern

We did an RV overnight stop utilising the hotel car park. We had a pizza and a guilt-free drink. There is toilets while the hotel was open, but it did close at 6pm, because it was a Tuesday.

Love the tavern, great meals at a reasonable price, the mixed grill is the best, steak sandwich was yummo

Gave this place a go when we stayed at Miara for the night. The younger lad serving us was very friendly. Had never heard of a chicken caesar burger and gave it a go. I would have it again. The only things we did not like was the smashed potatoes, not a fan. This was the first green fruit tingle i had, but it was alright. My friend liked the Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc.
No desserts, but an ice cream fridge.
Guys be really, really careful with minors in the gaming area. Had never seen any of those machines before, so that was kinda cool. One of the patrons was a bit rude to us unfortunately.

Avondale pub is a great place, we broke down and camped in the back you can camp there the staff are wonderful and looked after us craig the manager was wonderful if your driving by or staying there most definitely call in for a drink or a meal meals are wonderful can't thank you guys enough we will be back if we up this way again. Very friendly. Steak would not have been the absolute best quality but being so beautifully cooked (blue) made up for this. Price also very good compared to many hotel steak menus

Lady in the bar was more interested in talking to others. Forgot our drinks and 5 other people left as they were not waiting.

What a gem! Best lamb shank I have had in years. Yummy food great atmosphere, indoor or outdoor dining. Plenty of parking. Put it on your tour list.

Good old fashioned pub feed that don't break the bank account! Oversized meals and under priced so that's always a winner! Cold beer and cheap bourbon! What else can I say if you haven't already get on down to this hidden gem!

The drinks are cheaper here than any of the pubs in town. A good range of pub meals on the menu and all were tasty. Big outdoor seating area with a country atmosphere.

Enjoyed a terrific bacon and egg burger and chips and a nice cold beer with my wonderful wife.

Great country pub, very quiet, but great spot to stop in for a coldie when your passing by.meals are good, beers always cold.

First time I've been here for lunch. Visit with my brother and sister in law. Really nice meals at a very realistic price. Loved it.

A great place, the meal was wonderful, staff lovely, the place was inviting, I loved the outside area where I could have my dog next to me while I ate lunch. Beautiful bushland setting, kookaburras, birds, fresh air. Will be back, the food was amazing. Hopefully see some live entertainment next time in the bush themed outdoor stage, which is under cover.

Had to use there WiFi to lock in, not a proplem. Even with a function of the holden car clup, very quick service and tasty steak sandwich. Great outdoor area to sit, lovely for family sunday lunches.

The pub itself and the staff are great. The accommodation could use a little TLC. The green plastic garden chairs out front are near braking point, it would be lovely if they had the similar furniture as their pub. The sliding fly wire door you needed muscles to open had holes in it. Otherwise clean enough and we only needed somewhere to lay our heads for the night.
