Best paint match I have ever bought, got a bad batch of paint somewhere else and brought a sample and paint code to these guys and they helped me more then they needed to, very welcoming and were more then happy to give advice, went above and beyond, very happy with there service will definitely be going back here

Poor. My husband recently dealt with this mob for paint match and spray can as we were local. We saw the recommendations online, the results were terrible, service average - worse when we confronted the owner with our complaint. He didn’t want to deal with it and made us to feel that it was our fault. Will not return.

Ive been buying paint supplies from this store for about 8 years.
Technical advice from Mick has been readily given and has helped me to sort some frustrating issues on various jobs. The girls are super friendly, helpful as, and their tinting is always perfect.

We left them with a spray can of paint to match colour. We Gave them two days to mix it with no rush. Not sure what went wrong obviously some serious chroming most have gone on at the mixing table. THEY COULDN, T HAVE GOT THE COLOUR WRONG ANY IF THEY TRYIED. They charged me again for another two spray tins for there stuff up and second lot worse again. They best start looking for a non colour blind paint mix person. DO Not recommend. NOT WORTH THE PAIN

These guys are truly fantastic, their customer service is the best you'll get. AutoWest is my go to for anything paint supply related now as they cater for many different painting needs, not just automotive. Very helpful, experienced, great value, the shop front is like a candy store and they back up their products.

Very helpful staff of ladies who where too happy to help with tips for beginners. Lots of variety of stock for your DIY project not limited but including: paint mixing in a spray can, machine polishers, PPE, paint masking, sanding accessories etc.

Went in and spoke to Mick this morning he gave me good advice, good product at a great price. A pleasure to deal with.

I made a mistake with an order and was able to get it resolved on a Saturday so I could paint Sunday. Saved my bacon as it was my sons car and I wanted it finished and out of my shed!

I have written a review about this shop using another name I cannot get to work, so here are the facts: This shop isn't large, but as far as automotive paint suppliers go they stock all that you will ever need, as well as going to the lengths of service way beyond my expectations. They stock all the good stuff, the shop is very friendly and staff know their stuff well, & although friendly, come across as highly professional to boot. I have been a bit of a pain in the bum on picking a new colour for my new Harley Davidson baby. I have changed my mind 4 times already & if I was the staff member, I would think "oh no, here he comes again". The owner Mick is a genuine down to earth bloke leaving you comfortable to shop there without the feeling of being taken for a ride. As I was fussy, Mick had me work with a young female staff member who has a great eye for colour tones to figure out exactly what was in my head but could not explain correctly. Together we made up the final batch of paint to get the colour no one else has, as well as the confidence to enter the bike into shows. I can't say enough good things about this place or its staff, & recommend this shop to anyone who wants to support the small genuine well priced shop he has built. From the professionals to the home project guys, head into this store rather than Super Cheap Auto, or other large retailers that only see you as a dollar sign & get the good stuff to accomplish the job properly.
Thanks man, you have a customer who will recommend you to all for life. On top of all that I have described, you can actually have the paint you need put into pressure pack cans in 2 pac as well. A very handy thing for small projects, or for the guys who feel more confident in their can spraying abilities rather than using a gun.

Update: After spending maybe two hours with one of Mick's female staff (apparently females see more colour than us males) the salesgirl (sorry I forgot your name) she listened to what custom colour I was after & we mixed small quantities until the colour looked great on a small sample and I was happy with it & ready to be sprayed on my motorcycle. The painter did a great job, but if it wasn't for Mick & his staff my bike wouldn't of turned out better than I imagined. So thankyou again guys! You've done a terrific job, & I owe you a few beers at the next car & bike show we run into each other.

I have been to this shop twice in the last couple of days. Even though I was after a specific colour for my Harley, & the paint value wasn't very much, Mick did a terrific job getting my colour perfect to a depth you could not of bought off the shelf anywhere. The shop is clean, has all your painting needs, all staff are friendly, and the prices are great. I'll buy all my needs for this Harley job from Mick, plus future projects, & will recommend him without hesitation to everyone who comments on the end product. Plus I like to support my local shops, & this shop is up there with the best. Thanks man.

Update: I know I am repeating myself, but find this shop a better experience that most cannot compete with the level of service. I was in this shop again today to buy $150 of basecoat & thinners. (A very small amount at the moment) I spoke to Mick about the sample of which I sprayed last week & was ok/cool about. & out of curiosity asked Mick if there was a way to add a little more darkness/grey to the paint, & take some red & green tint out of the end product? Without hesitation he said yes and he added a little bit of tint then mixed it up, & did this until we achieved that perfect colour i was after without losing the pearl I wanted. (I reckon other places would have said "Nah not really, too much work for such little money bin"), but Mick loving what he was doing got it as close to perfect as I could imagine. Not only are the staff great, the shop layed out well, & the products top notch, as far as I could tell, had everything from the beginning of a paint project, to the last cut & buff show quality goods, they end up going that extra yard for great service. I urge everyone in the Northside Brisbane area doing quality spraywork to give AutoWest a try. All my mates will be told of this shop, as well as when you get compliments on the bike (everyday basically) of what paint has been used from the supplier to the painter, & the air brusher etc. These guys will always have my business. Thanks again man a very happy customer.

Mick is a top bloke and always looks after me. Even though I only buy relatively small amounts he's always happy to spend time helping me out. Absolute champion.

Felt really welcome in the shop, everyone is super firendly, and i didnt feel like i was being pressured into buying anything by any saleman types (we bought some stuff just as a thanks you for all their help). The guy that help us was super genuine and the prices seemed pretty good. They had a good range of stock for a small shop. I reccomend them to everyone. Thanks guys.
