Australia Post Margate Beach LPO

This is by far the best post office I have ever used for any business I've ever been involved with. Aida, Michael and their entire team constantly go above and beyond to help. They have a genuine passion for supporting small local businesses in Margate and throughout the broader Redcliffe Peninsular. Even the local postmen here are great. I highly recommend using Margate LPO not just for small business owners, but anyone wanting to send mail, pay bills or browse a great selection of locally made products to support the local business community.

Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. No fuss getting my passport photos and renewal submitted, no appointment necessary.

Big shout out to Lynda. Thank you for your help, and for your kind and happy words. You made an otherwise stressful day bearable.

After a less than pleasant experience at the Redcliffe shop, these guys were a breath of fresh air. Nothing was too much trouble and made getting my childrens’ passports lodged as easy as possible. Thank you!

The staff are all absolutely wonderful. I have social anxiety and stress about doing things like going to the post office. Every time I come here the staff are so lovely and help me out with every step and explain how everything works. Other post offices I’ve been to are quite rude and have a horrible attitude so it is such a breath of fresh air coming here.

Almost every time I pick up a parcel from Margate Beach they can never find it. It doesn't matter if the item is showing on my AustPost app - they still can't find it - at least not without a few trips to and from the counter to the back room before announcing it's not there. Because I've been down this road many times before, I always gently coax them back because it always is found - eventually. Heaven help you if your delivery is "small" - in that case take your sandwiches as it's going to be a long haul.

I absolutely love this post office. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They have a great choice of gifts and the prices are very reasonable. I hope that I will see you all soon. Julie

Parcel lost due to incompetency. Tracking tells me parcel is waiting for collection at Margate LPO and arrived there yesterday. I go there today and they tell me they sent in on. They did not even look for it just told me that if it is addressed to another LPO, then they just send it back. They did this without rescanning the parcel, therefore it cannot be found anywhere. The parcel was not at the LPO it was addressed to nor is it at the local DC. Margate staff were reluctant to go and search, and obviously don't care about following the correct procedure for parcel tracking. I have experienced several issues with this LPO every time I have had to go there. If I could give a no star review I would have done so.

Easily the best post office I have ever dealt with, and very different from most others. The staff here make you feel valued as a customer by being friendly and going out of their way to actually help you (even at 4: 57pm on a Friday!). It is a small shop but they stock a wide variety of items on their shelves that make great gifts such as ornaments, toys, stationary and other useful gadgets.

The customer service at LPO Margate is quick, efficient and super friendly! I forgot to pick up my order for at least 2 weeks and was pleased to know they still had it in their store room. I called in advanced to see if it was available and they were able to hold the parcel for another few days. I’ve been to this LPO a few times and I’m very pleased with their exceptional and welcoming customer service! Never had such good service from any LPO until I recently moved here

Fantastic post office, I had to send a large amount of parcels today and they helped me figure out customs, Australia Post business and all tracking. Great customer service
