Australia Post reviews
23I came to this post office to apply for Australia passports, we were served with a kind worker called Jenny and she was wonderful! Her service and kindness was the best. If Jenny didn’t work here I wouldn’t come. Jenny is the best post office worker and I recommend this post office because of her!
Really want to express our gratitude to Roxanne at the Forest Lake Post Office for taking care of our step-dad / Dad today when he went walkabout and became confused. He has been a long-term customer pre dementia and during, so they know him well but really appreciate Roxanne's care and compassion contacting us and taking care of him until our sister arrived to collect him! This is definitely outside Roxanne's position description and takes customer service to a whole new level! Some wonderful humans in this world! Thanks again so much Roxanne! Xo
Passport processing.
Fantastic experience - I was served by the main man I believe. Showed patience and great service from the minute I walked through the door. I was observant of the other transactions going on across the counter and the atmosphere was the best I'd ever seen inside a post-office.
I'm new to the area and the experience was tenfold of the ones at both Mt Ommaney and Springfield Central. Collectively made me feel like a burden, not a valued customer.
Most staff are lovely, service is good, with the exception of the gentleman who is supposedly in charge, extremely rude.
We have never had good experience with the staff here, however yesterday was the climax of unprofessional and inconsiderate behaviour by them when my pregnant wife goes to pick up a parcel, relatively bulky and heavy, when she asks if any of the staff can give her a hand with putting the box in the car, they simply refuse, thankfully a kind lady sees this and helps her. I am going to ask AP to change our drop off post office, hopefully never have to deal with them again
Staff and service was good but why would premium time on a Saturday morning be allocated to Passport applications? And not just one couple but 2! Not a wise choice of business hours or staff time.
I send and receive parcels at a number of post offices in my local area depending on convenience. It may well be a coincidence but forest lake is the only one I've had tracked express parcels not leave for over two weeks and parcels held there in transit for a week and one parcel taking 3 weeks to reach its domestic metropolitan destination. I gave 3 stars because these things can happen and it may be coincidental I've only had these problems with this particular post office. In which case my lack of stars goes to Australia Post and not this individual post office.
Staff friendly enough.
Small family owned business. Friendly, efficient staff. Easy parking most of the time. Recommended
I've been coming here for years and i haven't had many problems. There's usually always a line and sometimes they charge me twice for packaging even though i have a stamp that says paid on my box that was stamped by them when it was purchased and it was clear that i did not package it in store yet they still charge me.
Can't say enough wonderful things about the staff & the set out of the store. So much to make you stop & peruse & always very helpful with how things work or options. Love dropping in to check mail & send items
My first time using this Australia Post as I usually use the Inala Heights LPO.
Walked in to post and item and struggled to find a pen at the desk. Was met with a small sign stating that due to Covid 19 pens would no longer be supplied and you could instead purchase a pen for 80 cents at the front counter.
When I asked why they were charging for pens given the fact my Australia Post office in Inala was more than happy to supply customers with pens I was told by the lady at the desk that that Post Office in Inala is a GPO and therefore gets more stationary supplies than the LPOs. Wrong in more ways than one - there's two Post Office's in Inala (one an LPO and one a GPO). Secondly I know from experience working in LPOs that pens, fragile tape, return to sender stickers etc are incidentals and while you do have to order them you don't have to pay for them.
Can't interpret this in any other way than being a blatant money grab. Just not a great look - especially when you have to lie to your customers about the exorbitant cost of pens being the reason as to why you don't supply them anymore.
The lady at the desk was apologetic about the situation at the end of the ordeal. My rating isn't so much aimed at the customer service but more so targeted at the business owners themselves.
On a site note would 10/10 recommend Inala Heights LPO which is open 7 days a week and supplies pens free of charge:)
One of the most well run post office. The owners and staff are so sincere and happy to help you with anything.
Needed to post a wine box to WA and was delighted to receive friendly service. The box was assembled and taped up for me and the label printed & attached. This is a small and friendly PO with a real community feel about it.
Rude staff. Require you to buy a pen rather than making clean ones available at the front desk during covid. In general, Aus Post service is really going down hill. It's a shame there's not many alternatives for the individual in Australia yet. But if you're a business please look into the alternatives!
I wanted to thank the attention of a very kind and friendly lady ROXANNA with me, she helped me a lot, I arrived full of doubts and solved them with excellence, I will definitely return.
Fast and friendly.big queues always put me off thats why only a 4 its not their fault but its parf of the experience
Clean and tidy shop. Staff doing their best in the current conditions. Trying to keep everyone vivid safe.
This parcel was rejected 2 days ago. Today they left it at the door again!
Amazing, now I have to take it to the post office.
Polite, easy going and calm. Never had such a pleasant visit to a post office. Plenty of close parking. Much better than having a post office inside
The staff here were super helpful and friendly. Had a few issues with my shipping (not their fault) and they went above and beyond to help me sort it. Best post shop I have been to
