I would give this centre 3.5 stars. It’s not a bad centre and it has come a long way over the years. With the addition of Kmart and Woolworths the centre now offers better access to main retail stores.
The Coles is this centre is huge and their range is extensive. They also have an Aldi’s and a great little music shop.

The post office is always very popular and busy but the access to the post office is quick and easy which makes a big difference.

The food court area let’s this shopping centre down. It’s old and tired and very limited in healthy food options.

There is a coffee cafe opposite the butcher but it’s pretty ordinary and we are yet to have a nice meal or coffee there. The coffee shop and all food stores are probably mid range in quality (generalising of course) but I guess we are spoilt with so many options that are available at Chermside which is just around the corner.

Some of the food and clothing shops could definitely do with a rebrand and possibly even some refreshing of management.

There is a butcher at this centre that sells quite nice meat. The South African biltong seems to be a bit inconsistent for us but the staff seem helpful and always eager to help with special requests.

My favourite shop in this centre has to be the fruit and veg shop. The fruit and vegetables are always super fresh and reasonably priced. We have found they last much longer than the Coles or Woolworths equivalents and will often go out of our way to buy fruit and veg from there instead. They also often have avos that are marked as ripe and so far, in general the avocados from the Aspley Hypermarket Fruit and Veg shop are usually better quality than superstores.

In summary this shows centre has a few nice stores that make it a quick and useful place to duck into for a quick shop.

Came here weekly for groceries or Kmart antics. Car parks are cramped and usually packed. Last week a trolley boy scratched my car and ran off. I knew it was him because I saw him walking around my car with trolleys.

Tip: never park near empty trolleys or near the trolley dock. I usually don’t but no parks that have enough space to get my son out of his baby seat. Not risking that again.

Side note: I rate Kmart and Coles a 5/5.

I want to like it more but it's a bit small and quiet for a shopping centre. I'm sure it's perfect for the locals. Great coles and Aldi though if that's what you're after

The Aspley Hypermarket has everything - Woolies, Coles, Aldi, Kmart, fruit shop, health shop, bakery etc. Great place to shop.

A great shopping centre in a handy location with ample shady parking. A wide variety of shops, with the Asian supermarket a stand out for those who enjoy Japanese, Korean, Thai or Chinese cuisine.

Enjoyed bowling, but need more lighter bowling balls, less than 10 kg. Loved computerized scoring and score printouts.

The Woolworths and Kmart have polite staff, but the Coles has many rude, dismissive staff who seem to hate their job and are happy to let the world know. Security have often been unfriendly and cleaners often scowl at me.
There is unfortunately an unpleasant, unwelcoming demeanour to the Aspley hypermarket. From the donut shop to the hairdressers to the Coles to the cleaners, I have had very many rude, unpleasant experiences at this hypermarket over the last 4 years.

While this is less of an issue, the food court has a tiny selection and from the burritos to the curry to the donuts, almost everything I have tried has tasted bland. But that being said, some of them are at least friendly.

I really wish I could say more nice things about this place as I have visited it many times. One nice thing I can say is the curry place and fruit shop also have polite, friendly staff. The EB Games as well has very friendly, very welcoming staff. But overall, this hypermarket has continually disappointed me whenever my polite smile is greeted with avoiding eye contact or scowls. I often feel self-conscious about my appearance here because far too many staff excel at making me feel like an outsider. I hope others are treated better who visit here and don't have my experience.

Has improved a lot, kmart, 3 grocery stores. (Aldi, Coles & Woolies) nice specialty shops, chemist& small food court. Good for quick shops, big shops, & not as crazy busy as some of the large centres. But still busy. Has gym, wheel chair access& fresh bread store. A bank, & even a music shop.

Good shopping, but a shadow of its former glory as the South African owned Pick'n'Pay Hypermarket when it was our "go to" shop for hardware, stationery, groceries etc.in the one place.

It's looking a bit tired but it's got the two big grocery chains and some coffee shops. There is also a really good nursery outside as well.

It's big, but not too big. Aldi, Woolies, Coles, Kmart, a really good butcher, plus newsagent, chemist, health food shop, fruit and vegetable shop, music shop, gaming shop and more.

I had to drop in here to desperately pee while trying to get to the Sunshine Coast. Too many coffees. The toilets were very clean.

At this time of year, Dec, a good place to start your Christmas shopping. Plenty of parking. Kmart and Cole's have their standard wares, with the local newsagents also having great gifts too as well as health food shops, boutique stores, Aldi, Australia post, toys r us,
If you don't like crowds & want less noise and more time to look around than the hypermarket Aspley and Taigum shopping center (with big w) are great places to visit.
Time your visits to just before or after lunch to maximize your time and less stress.
