The owner of this store should not be dealing with the public. Very strange man.

Absolutely disgusting service by the old racist man and his little side kick.

Both him and his little side kick are the worst of the worst to abuse a pregnant person of colour and to have the audacity to refer to me as 'you people'.

Message to the old man - update your Google hours if you don't want people to arrive when your 'open' and you've decided to shut early. And also get some decency into you. Why so grumpy?

Very unpleasant experience! The gentleman behind the counter should decide if he is in the “people business” or not. It is not the first time he has been curt. I made allowances before allowing for people having bad days etc, however he is consistently rude. The other staff that work there are very pleasant, perhaps he should take some notes

To the elderly man who served me at the news agency on racecourse road, I will never return. I entered your store to buy a newspaper, I’ve flicked through a few pages to see if the article I was after was in the paper and I realised you were staring at me. You have gone out of the way to intimidate me, and told that you didn’t accept bank cards, instead of telling me that there was a minimum of $5. You told me I was in everyone’s way when I had purposely moved down an isle so other people could be served. You did not take your eyes off me once. Sadly because I believe I was wearing a medical grade mask. You should be ashamed trying to intimidate a woman by herself.

Erratic business owner swings from being rude and offensive to friendly and funny. His service is polarising - you never know what you’ll encounter. He does not discriminate who he is rude to: staff and customers alike. The range of cards is extremely limited and the store looks like a relic from the 1970’s.

Friendly, fast service, in a convenient location. Great for Go Cards and Lotto!

Invariably friendly and quick service, with a convenient location on the street corner near the bus-stop. Also a good place to leave bags and shoes for repairs at a reasonable price.
