Due to building a 60 sqm rear extension onto our character house, we needed new carpet for our master suite and new oak flooring for our new extended kitchen. Sarah from Andersens provided us with top notch service and guidance starting in the showroom and in a subsequent home visit.
We are thrilled with our choice of quality flooring which we have received many compliments on. Ronaldo the installer did an excellent job as did the carpet layers. I highly recommend Andersens for expert advice, service and competitive pricing on their excellent range of flooring.

Ronaldo came and installed new flooring he and his partner did a great job it took 2 days as unfortunately when they pulled up the old flooring our floor levels were out so needed grinding and leveling compound put down. We would use Andersen's Ipswich again. Sarah was very helpful in the store.

$8k EXTRA! Misleading Quote and Poor Service

Andersens Ipswich (Bundamba) initially provided a quote for our home renovation based on the engineering plans to expand our 3-bedroom house to a 4-bedroom with additional living space. They conducted a site check measure, but that's where the issues began. We discovered that the mandatory hardboard underlay was not included in the initial quote. We requested an updated quotation to include this crucial element, which they promptly did. Contract signed and deposit paid.
On scheduled day of installation, Andersens postponed it for four days later. This caused us to rearrange our other trades, inconveniencing everyone involved.
To our surprise, Andersens installers showed up unannounced the following morning. Andersens manager, James, displayed a complete lack of apology for the confusion. He gave us an ultimatum: either let the installers work that day or wait an entire month for rescheduling.

The most infuriating part of this ordeal was when I was informed the installers would not start work until I paid an EXTRA $8,000! It became clear that the quote provided was based on our 3-bedroom, unrenovated house, even though the contract explicitly stated 4 bedrooms with no specified square meterage.
Consumer law mandates that they honour their quoted price, but Manager James took a different approach. Instead, he sent the office administrator to our house, demanding that we pay an extra $8,000 or risk having the entire order cancelled. By this point, the installers had left the premises, leaving us in a state of frustration and disappointment.
Andersens who advertise themselves as "trusted name in flooring, " has now left us deeply dissatisfied with their service. We are still awaiting a response from Steven at HQ after his busy day of important meetings.

Experience with sales staff was very positive. Product worked well, a mix of loose lay vinyl flooring and carpet. Contractors were hit and miss. They would not turn up, if they did they were late or didn’t even bother to return. Eventually got the job completed and those final contractors were excellent in both their workmanship and professionalism.

We had our 30+ year old vynil and carpet in 1 bedroom replaced. James and Cameron were excellent and NOT pushy with their guidance and service. Brenton and Reece did a top job laying the vynil planks and carpet - hard working, respectful and quality work! We would absolutely recommend Andersen's at Bundamba!

I had some carpet replaced with wooden floors in 3 bedrooms. The installers arrived on time and didn't waste any time. They were very professional and did a great job. They even cleaned up after themselves which a lot of tradies tend to not do. I highly recommend Andersen's in Ipswich. It was easy to deal with them, they're very friendly and delivered in their promise.

Angela and Tim from Andersens were so friendly and professional to deal with. So many businesses you need to chase for a quote, or you feel like you are 'interrupting' them. Angela and Tim were quite the opposite and we would definitely recommend them. The carpets look great and were competitively priced.

Dan Frunk (sales guy), was very helpful and honest. Dosent try to sell you the best or more expensive carpet, but the most reliable and the best return on investment.

Dan (the installer), he is known in our family as the best installer ever. His joins and laying skills are priceless.

Prices at Andersens are really reasonable and fair - Especially for the service and quality product you get.

We had such a great experience with Andersens Ipswich. Mick arrived on time to measure up the rooms, bought samples to what I described I wanted over the phone, quoted a terrific price and had the super friendly carpet layers there to install the carpet on time. The level of communication was great - not over the top but when I requested the order went ahead, they kept me informed along the way. I can't fault the experience we had with Andersens Ipswich. I definitely recommend their business and will use them again when I need too. Top job Andersens.
