Andersens

From what started out as a great experience, the after service does not match!
We had carpet installed about two years ago. The sales person that sold us the carpet told us that the carpet was reasonably well wearing. (is is only going in our Master bedroom and robe.)
At 1.5 years in the carpet is visibly worn in spots. I reported the issues the first time to this store, and was told (with attitude) that we should get it professionally cleaned and get back to them. We had it cleaned and I returned to them about a month later to let them know that there was still issues. A sales person said that they would get someone to get back to me within the next day or so. After waiting 2 weeks for someone to get back to me, i went back to the store to follow up. So after three visits back to the store eventually a person came out to look at our carpets.
They acknowledged that the carpet was lifting and said that they would take the matter up with the Carpet manufacture and would get back to us within the week.
Again after waiting nearly two weeks, i had to go back to the store to chase them up. They said that they would happily fix the lifting issue once they had heard back from the manufacture. Again after waiting nearly a month for someone to get back to me, i had to chase them AGAIN to get the carpet manufacture to make contact.
Eventually! The carpet manufacture came out handed us a booklet on how to maintain our carpets even before having a look at the carpet! He was there for about 5 minutes and said that he would get back to us. It has now been 3 months since that visit and still nothing!
Our Professional carpet cleaner placed it on his report that the carpet was worn and that it was not good for such new carpet! We use a $1500 vacuum cleaner, as well a an expensive carpet cleaner for spot cleans.
So to say if i am happy, well no I'm not. It was all smiles and rainbows whilst getting our job, but the after service is appalling! This is not how you get a return customer!
BTW we have 20 year+ carpet that has held up better than the one we have! Also i am still waiting for someone to get back to me regarding our issue!
P. S not once through all of this frustration have i raised my voice, been rude or abusive! (incase you were wondering)
UPDATE: 23/1/24
I actually received a call from them today (nearly three months later) advising me that the manufacture found no fault with the carpet (again how the guy could have found anything after being there for under 5 minutes) and that they were going to send me the report and then we would have to ring and arrange a time for them to come out to re-stretch the carpet. So long story short, if there is a problem with your carpet that you pay $1000's for is worthless!

I have had new carpet put in. Tony and Johnny W were very professional and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate on recommending them.

Melissa from Andersons provided a sharp price on a quality carpet. The friendly crew layed the underlay and carpet early on the designated day, they did a fine job and tidied up afterwards. The entire process was pleasant and satisfactory.

Johnny from the Burleigh store was great to deal with! As someone new to buying carpet, he gave the best advice and always answered texts, calls and emails.

He helped me choose the perfect carpet and answered all my (many) questions about material types, carpet care, colour choice and install process.

Will definitely be coming back for our next project!

I had a number of quotes but found Anderson's had a better choice than I was offered. Price was OK and the service was great. Tank laid the new carpet and transferred other to the bedrooms. He even moved the furniture and couldn't have been more helpful. He was quick too. Happy with all.

Right from the start we were impressed with Andersen’s at Burleigh Heads, and particularly Paul Dellolio’s great customer service. His knowledge and expertise were very much appreciated. When he came to our home to do the measure and quote and discuss our needs he had a clear understanding of our desired result and was able to discuss the pros and cons quite clearly and concisely between each type of flooring. Along with Paul, we decided on vinyl plank and we are thrilled with the result. The two young men, Jacques and Red, who did the floor laying did a very careful and professional job. We have no hesitation in highly recommending Andersen’s at Burleigh.

The advise we received from Johnny at Andersens Burleigh Heads was very useful when dealing with body corp rules and requirements.the quote was sent to us promptly so we were able to action the work starting and completing before last Christmas.we are very happy with finished result and appreciated professionalism shown by the crew at Andersens.

I can’t speak highly enough of Michael and the Andersens team at Burleigh. I had a terrible experience with another supplier and it was going to take 2 months to have my carpet laid and all my furniture was out of the bedrooms. I couldn't be happier with the service. I had my old carpets replaced with hybrid flooring. Luke Feltis (Sales Consultant) was very knowledgeable and experienced and made the flooring choice and the booking process super easy. The installation was very professional with attention to detail and a thorough clean up afterwards. I highly recommend the staff at Burleigh Heads.

This is the 2nd time I have used Anderson's which was a good experience the 1st time so that's why I went there to replace my 20 year old carpet.
I picked a carpet that I liked maybe decided to fast but when it was put down I dislike it showed footprints and shading.
Anderson's were wonderful they replaced the carpet without any question as per their 100 day Policy.
The communication was excellent Carpet was replaced on the due date and very happy with the way it looks

Jared, Johnny, and his team were absoloutely amazing. Super happy with not only the carpet but also the service. Jared especially worked hard to get it sorted for us quickly and we noticed and appreciated the speedy replies and awesome service. We’ve worked with a few other places before but Andersons Burleigh has been by far the best. Definitely recommend.
