We appreciated the efficient and empathetic response from both our insurers and the contractor they used (Ambrose) to complete our repairs after our flood damage was reported. Ambrose site manager (Haydn) kept us informed and updated throughout the repair process which was reassuring. Our friends and family, like us, are impressed with how brief the disruption to our lives turned out to be and with an end result we love.

I could not be more impressed with the whole process. Communication is the absolute key and Ambrose and all contractors have done that so well. Thank you.

The project manager allocated was awesome - simply brilliant.

Nima Sadeghi is an asset to Ambrose that they need to cherish and reward.

The rating allocated is not a reflection on him but on some of the trades that Ambrose used. The plumber and the removalist allocated to the job were very much below par in their professionalism and attitude. I suggest that these trades be reviewed for any future project allocation.

The Flooring/Polishing and the carpenter/painter were very good - on time, communicated often and did a great job.

Ambrose Construction Group are by far the best that I have ever dealt with for and Insurance claim caused by large hail. I have had many claims in the last 30 odd years living in several locations with Cyclones and storm Damage. They were so professional and nothing was any problems, plus the Quality of the $120000 plus job was brilliant most recommended business that I have ever dealt with in the last 50 plus years

I had a water damage claim through RAA and Ambrose Construct Group Pty Ltd, were appointed to organise tradespeople. Plaster, painter, mould removal, cabintry removal etc.

I had to deal with Ambrose (Melbourne office) regarding my Insurance repairs. Peter and customer service staff was helpful and supportive. But Supervisor TOM and his appointed contractor was very dishonest and unethical with their works and commitment. They tried to supply and install cheaper and bad quality products in my house although I have requested them multiple times to make sure like for likes products. Supervisor Tom and his contractors bad work ethics caused stress for my family and delays with repairs. At the end we had to cancel the repairs with them and found another builder to do the job.

We had an electrical fire in one of our investment properties. Dan Bracefield from Ambrose Construction Group has been a pleasure to deal with. He is always available to answer all questions and constantly updates us on the progress. Whenever we had to contact him, he either addresses our issues promptly or would call us back in a timely manner if he wasn't available. Gave us a real peace of mind that he is on the ball. Highly recommended.

Ambrose were in charge of fixing a water damaged room at our property for an insurer. They were hopeless. Their only goal was to complete the job as cheaply as possible. They only completed a virtual assessment of the damage and got everything wrong, including their left from their right. Rather than admit their mistakes, they tried to cut more corners. They had a painter in our ceiling doing electrical work and only sent a qualified electrician when I complained. I would suggest avoiding Ambrose.

Sunny our supervisor from Ambrose was brilliant in facilitating trades to our Federation home in Coburg, displayed great customer skills and was very accommodating to our requirements. Special mention to trades who performed great work namely:
Michael and Jack for cutting plaster and cleaning affected areas;
Karam and Brett for restoring insulation, replastering and cleaning; Dean and David for exceptional preparation prior to completing painting to a very high standard; and
Lachy for his great electrical work. All trades were respectful of our wishes, great to deal with and would highly recommend to others.

The team at Ambrose, particularly Thomas, could not have been more helpful. The timing of repair was obviously quite slow, however I believe that this was due to the lack of materials and difficulties with finding the right tradespeople. Thomas gave me regular updates so I knew exactly what was going on and also more importantly, I could let the affected residents know.

I found Ambrose excellent to deal with. They responded promptly when I had water pouring in from my roof, temporarily fixed the cracked roof tiles and then I had to have a professional roof tiler do the job. Ambrose sent a tradesmen to plaster and repaint my room after it was all dry. I thoroughly recommend them as the chap who did the work did an excellent job and left my house very clean afterwards.

The Ambrose team regularly checked in over the period of the repair keeping us up to date with developments and changes in schedules during a very demanding time. This was most appreciated and made our process of adjusting to these unforeseen circumstance easy. We are very happy with their support and the professional approach both maintained as we addressed a couple of small concerns during the fitting stage and we ended up with an acceptable outcome.
