Went into Amart Virginia on the 31/08/23 and ordered a Kirby couch. Service was decent and efficient. We were told 8 - 9 weeks before it could be made and delivered. After 9 weeks were up we checked weekly after this eta.
Told it was in the warehouse on the 30/11/23 (13 weeks, 4 over due).
We called to ask when we could have it delivered (which we had paid for already). Was told they would call us back. No one called us back so we rang back the next day on the 1/12/23 and finally had it booked to be delivered for the 9/12/23.
Received a message on the night of 8/11/23 that the couch would be delivered between 8.15am and 11.15am.
Checked the tracking in the morning of 9/12/23 (7.30am) and it now said between 2pm and 5pm with 23 more deliveries in front of us.
ETA kept getting later and later through the day, at one point 5.15 pm to 8.15pm.
Finally arrived unannounced at approx 5pm. Both units dropped off, drivers took off quick. They left us the Chaise for our lounge suite and also another chaise from another order clearly marked with a different order number. Rang the Virginia Amart store on Sunday and was told it would be followed up and to credit it was. I was also told at this time that I could at LEAST receive a refund for the delivery. The delivery people had given our 4 seat part to the people whose chaise we had. They turned up at 6.30 am Monday morning with the missing part of our couch and took the other customers chaise part. I yet to this day have received any further communication with Amart regarding my refund and weekend I wasted sorting this out.

Lots of choices in products ie beds desks chairs etc prices clearly displayed payment is an easy process friendly helpful staff can deliver item if necessary

Absolutely horrid worksmanship on the San Lucas outdoor table setting. Bought this set back at the end of 2022. Its now march 2023 and the table laminate is peeling, the chair legs aren’t level and the cushions are degrading.

The customer service has stated that this is not a fault of the table so is not covered by their quality guarantee…

Wouldn’t recommend this product or any of Amarts products. I have raised this for repair and replacement as per their quality guarantee but was declined. Will be raising further.

Stay away. Stick to harvey norman. Much better quality and service.

After sales care is very bad. Product care/insurance product is completely useless. Fabric two and three seater couches we bought started pilling within two weeks of them arriving. They said it was normal to do this at the start and to buy a pilling remover and deal with it. Which we did but since then I had to shave the fabric with the machine four times in less than three years. Not acceptable. My previous couches of 15 years did not do this once. And they were also fabric not leather or microfiber.

Awesome furniture store we love the new Reno. We recently bought some outdoor furniture here and we love it. They have great sales aswell.

Good place for getting budget furniture in Brisbane AU.a very big warehouse with lots of variety, options and variations.it opens once a month so have to follow up on Facebook. Worth giving a try.

Recently bought a double mattress after locating what I wanted online. Quick to find and they were right there when I turned around to collect the payment. Paid the $99 delivery as I couldn't do it myself. Gave the sales person my name and number 3x then was told someone would contact me before delivery. Day of delivery comes and nothing. Ring the store and they pass you to the warehouse. Get told phone number recorded wrong, they were busy and hadn't done the list for deliveries and that someone would ring or sms in 10mins. Noon comes and still heard nothing. Ring again and get transferred again. Warehouse says they have been swamped and haven't got to send anything out but driver on his way. Truck arrived and one guy sitting on his mobile phone whilst the other gets out and gets the mattress. Guy then pushes the mattress along the stoned driveway with plastic covering tearing in parts. Gets to the door and starts pushing it towards me. I asked where was the other guy and he said it was just him. I asked if he was expecting me to lift it and he said well its just him. I questioned what I paid delivery for and he just said they don't work for Amart so could not comment as they are contractors. He pushed the mattress towards me and I said I am lodging a complaint and not happy that I paid $99 to help delivery my own mattress, something I have never had to do in the past when I have had a mattress delivered by other companies. He made me carry the bottom of the mattress, the heaviest part, and I hurt my lower back trying to carry the majority of the weight. As I woman I find this outrageous. I can only imagine their other deliveries that day if they had older people and expected them to carry their own mattress too. As he left I immediately rang the store and asked for the manager. Was told she was out and spoke to the assistant manager and told him what happened. I asked whether this was how they did their deliveries and he said he did not believe so but was non-committal in saying yes or no. He ended up ringing back and saying they will refund my delivery fee and so they should! I had to go instore to get it which was not what I wanted but did. Saw the manager who just said the same thing they did, that they didn't work them and they couldn't get in touch with them but will investigate. Kept shutting me down when i tried to give her precise details, most likely because other customers would hear. Was not impressed as anyone who delivers for them is still representing the brand so take some responsibility! Been around two weeks now and haven't heard anything. If there was a negative rating they would get it. Would never go there ever again and was even considering a lounge but won't be from there! I'd probably have to carry that myself too. Zero customer service after sales. Worst shopping experience ever!

AMart used to be extremely cheap and extremely poor quality. It's neither of those things now, but I'm not sure the quality has increased as much as the prices.

Their service has been terrible. Once ordered, the store staff blame everything on the warehouse for the delayed delivery. Received the wrong item, of different color and they did organize someone to check which also happened, but there has been no response after that! Only cared about getting out money and post that their responses are rude.

Five stars for Gina, two stars for another relatively young employee and two stars for the payment system.

This afternoon, my friend accompanied me to the nearest Amart as I was moving house and desperately needed a mattress for the weekend. Upon entering the mattress area, Gina gave me a warm greeting, introduced me patiently after asking me what I wanted and expressed her affirmation and kindness when I said I wanted to have a second look and indicated to me that I had plenty of time to choose the mattress I liked best.

I felt happy about buying a mattress on the spot due to Gina's warm service. The price of the mattress was 698 plus 100 for shipping and I wanted to pay with two cards, a debit card and a credit card. The person who gave me the checkout was a relatively young employee. When I paid, I completed the payment of $300 with my debit card, however when I tried to proceed with the remaining amount with my credit card, the EFTPOS machine showed the transaction failed.

I asked her if it was possible that the eftpos machine was malfunctioning. She told me to try with another machine but it still failed. I was puzzled as I had just completed a purchase with this credit card in the morning and I told her this part of information. However perhaps it was unintentional, but her reply made me nervous when she said, "I've never seen a payment fail for any reason other than insufficient balance. "

I have suffered from relatively severe depression and anxiety over the past two years due to Covid-19. After hearing her reply I felt very self-conscious and upset. I asked her, "Is there a convenience store or something nearby where I would like to go, and maybe buy a bottle of water in order to check whether it is a problem with my credit card or with your payment system? " And her response to me was, "There is a convenience store nearby, however you probably just wasted five dollars or something because you probably had enough to pay for the water but still not enough to pay for the rest of the payment. "

I think she may have been unintentional, but her reply really put a lot of psychological pressure on me. As my friends were waiting for me and I didn't want to waste their time, I said maybe sometime after that I would complete the rest of the payment. I did call my bank but they said there was nothing wrong with my bank card. To be honest, within two hours of leaving, I was very low and anxious.

I had dinner with my friend in the evening, including another trip to Woolworth's, and I had no problems with my credit card being in use. I would like to believe that the staff member's words were probably not meant in bad faith, but I also think I have to express my feelings and thoughts.

Terrible after sales service. Once you order, the store staff blame everything on the warehouse. Received the wrong item, returned it to the store about two weeks ago. Still waiting for a refund even though they can take your money straight away and before delivery is organised. Now I only get platitudes from staff at Virginia store. Buyer beware….

I went there to buya a bed but one of the staff name benjimen was very rude and when i asked for help he was away but he said we dont have it without knowing what i am asking for but he came to me he said ok we have it and during payment he had a aggression look on his face. Mate be respectful and listen to customer when meeting customers. I was paying for it not begging.

The only reason I rated highly is because the lady I spoke with that was helping us was awesome. They have very little in stock. What would help, if they put up signs saying what's not in stock.

This store is scary. Sales people come at you the moment you enter and bombard you with high pressure sales, then they wont leave you alone. I had to keep walking away and my friend hid in the toilet.

We never like giving a bad review but since AMart Furniture seem to totally reject any reasonable claim and put it down to misuse or neglect, here is a bad review.
We ordered 4 x Westport "OUTDOOR" Chairs. We have only had time to assemble 1. It is in a semi covered outdoor area, after 1 week rust is seeping out of both back legs and has also stained the concrete. AMart put it down to misuse or neglect. Unbelievable.
