Poor quality furniture and warranty that is worth nothing. My leather lounge has deteriorated after just three years. Warranty claim submitted only to be rejected. Reason, reasonable wear and tear. Never buy anything from this junk shop again

Customer service from a staff member named Peter on Sunday 2nd April was absolutely appalling. From the moment we walked in the door he made absolutely NO effort to greet us even though he looked at us up and down. There was no smile from him. He then started to stare at my children for a long period of time and proceeded to tell me that my kids better not jump on the bed and not in a nice way. They wernt jumping nor were they going to but he made that assumption that they were going to when they were just simply doing what your supposed to do before you buy. We were there to buy new beds and mattresses for them so they were testing it by laying down because I told them to. He profiled our kids under the assumption they were going to misbehave.
I then heard him talk about us to the 2 females staff at the front counter.
If I could give a 0 star I would. From start to finish our experience in this store was horrible thanks to peter.

Bought a sofa with a 5 year guarantee. Coating started peeling off after two years. When I complained, I was told it was wear and tear - I didn't realise amart sell 3k sofas that you can only use for 2 years. It's totally unusable after 2 years of very little use. Would not recommend the Orlando corner sofa or any amart products for that matter.

COULDN'T GIVE ZERO STARS
This review is for AMART FURNITURE HEAD OFFICE not particularly capalaba store. Bought a 3 seater Keller couple of years ago that came with a 7 year guarantee. The middle seat started to sink. As I was browsing for a new couch found out that mine came with 7 years guarantee so I contacted the Amart Furniture claims department. Who offered me $119 then $220 a week later to keep the couch as it is. Which doesn't make any sense as you can't use one of the seats. I rang again and got told someone will be out to check it out. Today 01/08/2022 their contractor from Leather Doctor came to look at the couch and said the quality of springs and the foam is very cheap and needs replacing on the whole couch. I rang again to see if they will either fix it or replace it. The lady who answered was just rude and only wanted me to take the money (they have since jacked up the price for the same couch) and even thou it has 4 and a bit years worth of guarantee left, won't replace it until I get the old couch professionally cleaned and show them a receipt. Told me I can go to ACCC and ombudsman they don't care. Bad attitude 10/10

Horrible customer service by the staff (one female staff with pink hair and a male staff) working Friday 18/03/22 around 3: 50pm. Walked into the store, one female staff was at the counter, looked at me and my family and didn’t not acknowledge us. Not even a smile. 1 star is only because there is no 0 star option.

Gary and the team at Amart Capalaba helped me to find a beautiful couch and table that I know I will have with me for years moving forward. The team was friendly, knowledgeable and helped me find the right furniture specific to my needs. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase high-quality furniture.

Purchased an Abby 3 seater lounge for $999 in Sept 2021. By Nov you could feel the base due to faulty foam. Contacted warranty, they sent a technician to assess. He said it was faulty. Since then no communication from Amart despite several emails to the Capalaba store and the warranty team. Have lodged a complaint with the Office of Fair Trading. Absolutely disgusted with the service

This stool has been awesome, it’s so comfortable and great to sit on for long periods.

I did have a unfortunate case where this stool did break after a couple of months but they were able to swap me over for a new one the same day!

The customer service from Remy (I believe? , young gentleman) was outstanding! He was very quick to help me with solving the problem and picking out the chair in the beginning. Definitely recommend him at Amart Capalaba.

Purchased blinds from Amart Macgregor and tried to exchange at Capalaba. I was turned away to go back to Macgregor store to do the exchange. This is unacceptable in this day and age. We won't be shopping at Amart in future and I will be refunding the original purchase altogether now.

Just bought a mattress at Amart Furniture Capalaba. Sophie serviced us and she was amazing. She was really friendly and kind. She’s very knowledgeable and had a heap of tricks and tips to help me out. She made it such an enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend!

It is difficult to make a decision and discuss options with your partner and be able to properly look at things in person, when you are consistently bothered by the same sales person repeatedly, this is why we all shop online these days.
