I hired snowboarding gear for 2 weeks from Alley Designs. Great quality and decent prices.

Me being a complete novice, I appreciate that Andrew helped me last minute and didn’t make me feel ridiculous for not knowing what I would need for my trip away.
He even went over and above making some adjustments to my partners board/bindings that weren’t from his shop.

Yieww, So stoked there is a business selling snow gear on the southern Gold Coast. Great service from andrew, he has an awesome knowledge on all the snow equipment. Can’t wait to get my next Japan pow board from here soon.

Also was great to get my board waxed and edged here before going on my snow trip. No more wasting time on the snow trip worrying about getting these jobs done the night before riding.

Got an awesome board off these guys, we have lost the paddle. Today went to inquire about getting a new one. Didn't even make it in to the shop. Parked the car and then was barked at by a worker standing there, asking why I had parked in a certain parking spot. As a manager of a store I'd hate for any of my customers to be treated that way. What makes it worse is him barking at me while I had my small child with me. People are doing it hard, no one needs to have thier day wrecked by someone like him.

RUDE and AGGRESSIVE. This morning I approached a man at Alley designs (? Andrew) and said "I have a huge favour to ask you and please FEEL FREE TO SAY NO". I just wanted to confirm how to screwed my fin onto my SUP (bought elsewhere). I wasn't asking him to do it for me. Sadly instead of simply saying No, I'm busy or NO you didn't buy it from here. Andrew went into a rude and aggressive rant even though I had said FEEL FREE TO SAY NO. SO UNKIND AND UNPROFESSIONAL.

for an efoil project I have underway A+

I bought a 10' carbon SUP + paddle last week. It is basically the same dimensions as my first board which was on its last legs (bought elsewhere). I was thinking of going smaller as I now have 5 years experience but after talking with Andrew we worked out that for my needs I should stick with what works and I'm glad I did.

I have taken it out 3 times now and I'm very happy. The first two times were for a long paddle on the ocean + to get a few small waves. I changed over the single fin to the quad fin set up (all included) which seems to work better for me (faster).

The nose cuts through waves easier than my previous board when paddling out. I think it has a little less nose rocker but I don't feel like it's going to nose dive at all. It does what I need it to do on a wave - I'm definitely not a high performance SUP surfer, I'm happy to just get a few full waves away from the surfers and glide down the line. I can't comment on how it would perform doing critical turns etc.or in bigger surf.

The other time my daughter came and laid down on the front. It floated us both no worries. It was stable even when a bit windy/choppy.

I'm in northern NSW but Andrew was happy to meet me at the border to pick it up which was super easy.

Overall I'm really happy - the board is what I was after and I appreciate the honest guidance of someone who obviously knows what he's talking about.

Ordered a SUP off these guys, they made sure to deliver in time for my trip and gave advice wherever needed as I'm a first timer. Highly recommend them also I'm in NSW so even with restrictions they made it happen.

Andrew is amazing! I went down to get a snowboard tuned and he showed me his wide range of snowboard gear and i was impressed with his knowledge and passion for the sport. We got locked out of NZ so Andrew and his snowboard tuner had my board vacuum packed so it's ready for next time. Very considerate mate. Thanks Jp

Andrew was exreamly helpful the moment I walked in. Helped me pick out a board for my wife, even opened up brand new boxes from out the back to give me some extra colour options. I then had the dilema of getting it home in time to suprise my wife and was kindly offered by Andrew's good friend who was there at the time to drop it back home for me. 10/10 customer service. Cant speak highly enough of Andrew and Savannah from Alley Designs, I was lucky enough to go to Andrew for a foil lesson and his knowledge patience and encouragement had me hummin along (eventually) well done Andrew and Savannah! A great no hassle company that really looks after their customers and takes pride in their service.
