60 While waiting at the cashier checkout where there was a line of 4 customers waiting and no cashier, I respectfully asked a staff member if we could get someone at the check out and was told to wait my turn.
Meanwhile the self check out had staff everywhere helping out. As there is NO advantage to the customer to self check out I regard this care less attitude as a turn off to me returning. I do not blame staff, (many of them will lose their job when fully self check out arrives). Nice to know that Aldi could not be bothered serving their customers.
It's around six p.m, I shop here, and when I was checking out, I didn't know the basket could not be placed under the checkout area, even there were several shopping baskets piled up there, the cashier was very angry and yelled at me and put the basket back in right place, he could tell me that I couldn't put it there, he was no need to yell at me, it was very rude, very bad experience to shop here.
Just updating review. THEY LIED! They haven't returned the money 72 hours later.
If I could choose no stars I would, Just got ripped off by their self service machine, charging me twice ($126). And the manager and 2 staff were more worried about calling me Love. They could've given me a refund via EFTPOS but business must be slow, they kept my money and told me it will be returnedby the bank in 72 hours. Rubbish customer service BE CAREFUL THEY ARE A RIP OFF AND HAVE RUBBISH SRRVICE!
SO, they're THIEVES as well as LIARS! Typically, in a time when people are doing it tough.
I shop at Aldi regularly but I’m finding if I shop there after 5pm they have run out of lots of items…
Great store. Just love the new self service checkouts. Makes it so easy and speeds up the wait time.
Great staff and plenty of parking. Only thing is there isn't many trolley returns or parent parking. I've been there a few times when it's busy with my 2 kids and it's quite a distance to unpack the groceries and then take both kids with me to put the trolley away and back to the car.
It is never a pleasant experience to visit a supermarket where the staff are unhappy and rude, unfortunately, you can find them at here.
Calm environment, only ever had positive interactions with staff. Clean and tidy. Sometimes staff are stocking shelves with their big equipment in the meet/produce isle and it can make the traffic a bit congested with the trollies but simply doing their job - they do it as quickly as possible to get out of the way.
I’ve been an Aldi convert for a while now because this store always has excellent quality fresh food. The reason for my rating today is that I am so appreciative for the help of one of their staff. I was shopping with my two children, both in full meltdown, and instead of feeling rushed or judged, the attendant working at the checkout loaded all my groceries onto the belt for me and went slowly as she scanned them so I could get everything back in the trolley. I am so thankful!
I came through 11/9 16: 55 and the lady serving me with glasses and black curly hair was unnecessarily rude to me. She was extremely polite to the customers infront of me, so I was taken aback by her attitude. She had been patient with the customers infront of me, waiting for them to pack their items, but she made a huge point of stacking my items and side-eyeing me.
Usually the customer service is great here (which is why I’m giving 3 stars and not 1), just unimpressed with today

The team here are hit and miss. I came in for a special buy which was there the day before, and the manager said she couldn't even find it in the system. She told me to go to as many Aldis as I can until I find it. I came back two days later and spoke to a different manager who found it in the system, and told me exactly where to go to get it.
Staff are always friendly.
Store clean and has different products including New Zealand honey the other day, so a very happy Kiwi.
Super cheap, good people.but really $3 in China to get a trolley is annoying. Allegedly they have a key chain that they will that will do the job!
Good ALDI. The layout is easy to navigate and they generally are well stocked. Today they were out of a lot of produce, COVID truck delays are affecting everyone. Plenty of customers were understanding about it. Staff were efficient and helpful. The carpark is always a bit nutty, mostly due to the entrance being where pedestrians need to cross to enter the store.
It's ok. It's not really cheaper than woolies or Coles when you buy comparable products. It doesn't support other ways of shopping that the majors do such as click and collect or self checkout, you have to shop in store and you have to checkout with the one slow lane they have open. They need a new direction honestly.
Didn't have any coins on me so unfortunately couldn't grab a trolley. Had to carry heavy stuff in bags/basket. Got to checkout and unfortunately lost a glass jar of jalapenos that smashed on the floor. It was so embarrassing. Staff were wonderful though and quickly jumped into action and made me feel better and I was so grateful.
Horrible customer service, no respect from staff name Campbell who was in the checkout
I believe Aldi will loose the customers staff like Campbell

This is a good ALDI. It's definitely cheaper than Woolies or Coles. Parking is plentiful and easy. It can get busy at times but if you choose your Shopping time carefully, you can get a good run.
