ALDI Garden City reviews
42Two times I have had to leave my aldi token in the trolley because your bays have no aldi trolleys for me to get my coin back. ALDI Bays FULL of Coles trolleys. I will be contacting customer service I want my aldi token back.
A place where there are always good prices and products. Currently, the lowest price items at Aldi are not available anywhere else.
Usually pretty quick. 4 stars because they are out of stock of high volume groceries regularly, such as broccoli etc.
Got all items Interested at fair prices. Good checkout experience & undercover parking.
I love Aldi.
Where else can you buy a lettuce and a chainsaw to cut it with. (Depending on weekly specials)
Great range of common household goods. Some good buys, others not. Long queues but good service. Battery recycle bin on hand.
Good. On Saturday morning there could be an extra cash register open, or two. A very busy shop. Good range of food but the cash register experience is too long.
Aldi, the place you buy cheaper food copies that taste just as good as the "real" thing.
Generally has good products at good prices but some items are still in short supply and/or not on shelves.
Basic and standard Aldi layout makes the place familiar when you walk in. Stock can be low as it is a busy store but this means long waits at the registers.
Not very happy as the shelves are too high and when I asked an operator to help me, was told we are only 3 staff and we can't help u. I could not reach the product on the top frozen shelf. Way to high. Something has to be done. Your not meeting customer needs at all. Bring the height down or u will loose customers. Thanks
Not my favourite Aldi. While it has all the usual offerings, it somehow looks and feels crowded, like they have tried to push too much into what is in reality a smaller than normal store. There are only 4 checkout lanes, though it was nice to see them quickly open up a second register when the line got long. It just didn't feel like a great place to shop, which I usually get from this chain. Also, tucked away in a corner and easily missed.
Lazy service. Smashes a oil bottle and it we had to reline up.
Told the store manager and she put on 1 other staff during a busy time.
Just pure lazy
I got an bad experience from this store 6/02/2022 Sunday evening, me, wife and little one went to cash counter for paying bill, one women was at cashier with a steel hand bracelet (I don't know name) it was very busy time she asked us in front of everyone open the bag which is my wife put on her back, we just lost our faces in front of these people, we are standing like we stolen something from the shop (she checked the bag nothing she can't find) so we feeling it's like a bullying, this is first time experience, most of the women customers has their bags why didn't she ask them to see their bags, in front of everyone she did my little one also a suspicious looks from rest of the customers, poor my little one he was sitting the stroller without know what's going on here
Staff are always friendly and a great place to find different products to that of Woolworths and Coles.
The fella with the manbun/ short ponytail is a proper a-hole
He yelled at me for checking my bag when i went out without buying anything because the line was so long. He yelled Hey buddy! Show me your bag! And put his fingers on his eyes and pointed to my backpack. Rudest possible way to ask a customer to show their bags
Worst Aldi i have been to. I shop at Salisbury unfortunately it is closed due to renovation. So i thought to go to Garden City. Won't go there again. I will shop at Woolworth or coles for the next 10 days. The Salisbury Aldi is great iiialoutstanding
Hard to find anything from the aisles if you are not familiar with the store. And definitely not many staff available to answer a question you may have. Whoever was there gave me wrong info and dint bother to rectify it when other staff member corrected him. I happened to overhear the conversation and went to the second person to confirm and yes, the info given to me was wrong. Totally disappointed. The 3 star is for ALDI in general.
Large, modern store with a huge variety of budget friendly products. Very conveniently located.
Sometimes they have some very good products but when you go back to get more they don't have it any more and you can't get more. Staff friendly.
