Words can’t describe how this place has deteriorated. Once a great place, now held back by abysmal leadership resulting in significant staff turnover and rapidly declining standards. A pumped up reputation with little behind the facade. There are much better alternatives on the Gold Coast.

Called to inquire. I was answered with a very cold, 3 year wait, and when I asked if I can submit an application in the meantime, the answer was again a cold"yeah apply". Arrogant.

Been going here for 9 years. Not once have a thought about moving schools. It’s amazing here and I love coming to school each day!

We are very grateful to the school for providing the amazing opportunity for our daughter to enter the Qld Schools Volleyball competition for the first time with a Year 7 group. The girls loved the training and loved competing in the 3 day event! We are so grateful to the Teachers and Director of Activities for this opportunity. Our daughter loved it and it is a reflection of how much she loves the school.

It was a great pleasure for me to be able to visit AB Patterson again yesterday with the ZCar Qld Group to assist the Yr 9 Japanese Studies Class. I always enjoy the outing to the College-the students’ interaction make it all worthwhile.

Once again, I was truly impressed by the quality of your students - they are in a “class” of their own.

I attended musical in auditorium. Excellent building with modern facilities. Brilliant sound system. Comfortable seating. Plenty of parking. Highly recommended

Lilliannah Bonsai had the pleasure to demonstrate and prepare bonsai lessons for the Year 8 students at AB Paterson College on the 13/9/22. We learnt about the styles of bonsai, the history and basic care.

The students were impeccably dressed, well- mannered and a pleasure to teach. Beautiful manners and attitudes were shown by all students!

Doomo arigatoo gozaimashita to the students for your manners and staff, Sue Walduck and Cheyne Sandercoe for their support of Lilliannah Bonsai.

Mr. Davis does a fantastic job of helping to coordinate chess within the school and promotes the program as much as possible - so much so that there is a waitlist of over 20 students for the program! Many players are continuing to progress under the tutelage of our Gardiner Chess coaches - all of whom enjoy working with the ABP students.

Pretty mid school. They care more about their public look than anything which is just sad. You can even use a phone to buy lunch anymore… just don’t send your kid here it will not be a fun time for them.

If I could give this school one star I would. Absolute poor sportsmanship when it comes to your netball team. What an embarrassment. Rude and rough. Your team wouldnt shake hands at the end of the game either.

Not the greatest school ever, most the students are trash and dont respect anyone and half the grade bullies my friend group. The counciller sucks and makes your problem worse. They only think about the image of the school to the public instead of actually teaching the kids and spend all the money on useless stuff. Overall would move schools if i wasn't leaving my friends behind

Was driving on the gold coast highway at 2pm behind a van full of kids from this school, a couple of kids at the very back seats waved at me while we were at a set of lights then as soon as the van started moving, stuck their middle fingers up at me and kept sticking them up until I switched lanes.

This school has obviously has poor values and if you want your children to be surrounded by kids with this kind of attitude, you should send them to this school

Super disappointing to hear that (as a Co-ed school!) they have appointed two male students as college and vice captain. As a past student of the college, I think it sends an appalling message to the female students.

Before attending this school I was a happy and carefree person. However, now I am far from that. This school absolutely destroyed my self esteem to the point where I had to leave. I was judged by students and felt like none of the staff actually cared about me or any of the other students. Every day I would dread coming to school knowing that I was constantly going to be criticized. I don't recommend this school, though everyone has a different experience and opinion.

Quite bad experience over the phone with A. B. Paterson College representative re interstate transference for my son. Found them unpolite, full of themselves, way too arrogant. Definitely a red flag.

My wife and I (Karen Tyrrell) are performing authors. We’ve presented at many schools, we found the kids here are particularly bright, mature and inquisitive. We felt a warm vibrant and happy atmosphere wherever we went. Something very good is happening here.

I give this 5 stars because they paid me to give them 5 stars: D.jokes aside this school deteriorated so quickly after only a couple months, it's very obvious they do not care about their students but rather how their school *looks* to the general public.they probably spend more money on landscaping rather than actually teaching the students.paying 10-13k a year is not worth this

The school. I have to admit is quite satisfactory, this can be blamed due to its lack of dental hygiene amongst the college community.
