Terrible service. I’ve been left waiting by the workshop for several minutes without any acknowledgment. I counted 5 people at the workshop, not even one person greeted me or said hello. Shocking.

I have been a customer at this store for many years. I have been consistently impressed with the friendly and professional service that I have received. I can confidently and without reservation recommend this business.

Extremely disappointing. Waited 20 minutes at the Kessels Road store and no service. Asked for help but it did not come. Walked out. Store at Springwood is no longer there.

Love the handy location of Bike 99 and Madison is definitely awesome with her 5 * service. We had an inner tube replaced in February for my son's bike but he kept getting flat tyre after a month or two. We have changed it three times in total and still getting flat. Finally we brought in the tyre again and Madison changed the tube, double taped the rim and fingers crossed we won't have a flat tyre anytime soon. Our son has taken it for a ride twice and it seems to be holding great. Special thanks to Madison for your patience in understanding our frustration and being super helpful. Will definitely return for a service or a NEW BIKE perhaps

So happy with our purchased because of Tony. He was very helpful, sincere, professional and patient with us keep changing our mind choosing the bike for our son. This what we called visit with excitement and go home with happiness. Need many people like Tony.

Bike repair at 99 Bikes, Macgregor.
Right side pedal had to be replaced, however it was firmly stuck in the crank. Several people had attempted to undo the pedal over several years without success. On this occasion Ronan, the bike mechanic, went to a great deal of trouble and using a somewhat different approach, was able to successfully remove the old pedal. A new crank set would have otherwise been necessary.
I sincerely appreciate the efforts he went to on my behalf. My particular thanks to him and to the crew at 99 Bikes Macgregor generally, they have always been good to deal with. On this occasion however, they hit the jackpot.

I'd like to thank a lady Madison, who introduced the models from high to low, and made me buy all the accessories of the bike at once. He was passionate and kind, and made me feel so comfortable.

My client and I went to a different 99 bikes not long ago and had a terrible experience. But visiting the MacGregor store was a completely different experience. The atmosphere when we walked in was very welcoming. We only had to wait a few minutes before being served which was amazing. Bayley served us and was so friendly and helpful. He even apologised for the wait but we explained there wasn’t a wait and we were very happy.

5 stars as always. McGregor was busy but the team still have time to greet everyone and answer any questions. I only needed small parts today but it still was no problem

Actually happened over a year ago but I forgot to post the review. So my bike's front and rear wheels were very squeaky because I had gotten lubricant onto the brake discs. I took my bike in, they said it was worth doing a service since it hadn't been ridden in over a year. Initially I was reluctant to do this, but eventually agreed since I had only owned the bike recently. I dropped it off, and picked it up the next day. They said the front brake pad was replaced but the back one was only resurfaced. I took the bike home and only took it out for a ride maybe 3 days later. Immediately I noticed the back brake was still very squeaky. Initial standard service was carried out by Tim and says "test ridden" which I highly doubt as I noticed the squeaking pretty much immediately after riding it. So once again, I had to return to the shop with my bike and they said they would replace the back brake pad for free, which I think was reasonable considering all the extra time and petrol money needed for the return visit and not to mention, the extra frustration that it wasn't just fixed the first time. So for my next bike trip, I rode towards the city and around 3/4 of the way there, I started to hear some grinding noises coming from the front wheel/brake disc. I didn't want to ride back to 99 bikes Macgregor so just continued riding to the city and went to the 99 bikes there. They did some adjustments with the knobs on the brake which resolved the noise, luckily for no charge as I had told them I only had the bike serviced at 99 bikes elsewhere recently.

Went to McGregor store to buy a bike for my 4 year old. Madison was amazing, so knowledgeable and helpful and took the time to set up my daughter's bike and show me how to maintain it. Great customer service. Will see how the bike goes.
