From the moment I walked into 5th Wave, I knew I was home. Being completely new to the sport and arriving at the gym was overwhelming, but instantly everyone was super friendly and accommodating.

Head coach Chris went out of his way to sit down on the mats and guide me through the fundamentals and always ensured I was paired up with someone suitable.

Few months later and I'm blown away by the support from Chris, his wife Ange, all the coaches and the club members. Solid gym and highly recommend for kids, adults -new or experienced! Come check it out, you won't be disappointed.

I started at the club 4 years ago not knowing anyone or anything about grappling, in that time I’ve been welcomed with open arms and treated like I’m part of a wider community and family. It’s a great gym for all levels of grappling beginner to advanced, And is big on building culture not only for the adults but the numerous kids classes that they have on offer as well. If you’ve ever wanted to give grappling a crack, this is the gym to do it. OSS.

Got the courage up to head down for a free weeks trial about 2 years ago and haven’t looked back! Coaches and staff are absolutely amazing! I felt welcomed from the second I stepped foot in the establishment. Great family friendly gym and structured fun learning for both kids and adults! Amazing clean amenities and a huge mat space and cage! 10 stars

Love this club! Such a cool vibe and great people. I’ve made some amazing friends and even met my husband here. We love training together at our home away from home with this supportive group of people. I’ve known the owners since 2016 when my son first started BJJ and they put their heart and souls into building this place for the community. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I’ve been training here for over 2 years now and I can honestly say nothing bad about the place. Owner and head coach Chris is great with everyone whether it be kids, teens or the adults. Along with help from his partner Ange they make the gym feel like a second home to me and everyone else. You will seriously not find another place like this it’s one of a kind.

I train here and I've trained at a few other gyms and this place is the best around for adults and kids. You wont find a better facility in QLD and the coaches are excellent with a huge range of knowledge across many combat sports. It's like one big family here so if you're looking for somewhere to train and to make new friends then look no further than 5th wave.

My kids just started and they love it, plenty of floor space and well ventilated so its not a sweat box, professional trainers and patient with the kids.would highly recommend this gym.

Best club there is around as far as jujitsu. My two kids love going. They are family run and I could not be more happier with the communication. Attention to detail with each child. I highly recommend this business to everyone I know

Brilliant gym for adults and kids alike, amazing coaches, endless support and advice, Ive tried so many gyms and despite living 40 minutes away I always come back!

Awesome atmosphere. My boys have learned so much over the year they have been training there. My boys are there 4 out of 5 days a week and love it. Definitely recommend 5th Wave BJJ
