Yubu Napa Art Gallery reviews
23Really nice gallery. The artists in residence were happy to chat. Should have brought a dodge there.
An eclectic mix of art all in one amazing space. The numerous rooms and spaces work well to display a HUGE collection. Great service. Karl is very knowledgeable about the art and artists.
Thanks so much to Rik and Karl for hosting our students, sharing your knowledge with them and expertise. Time with you was a highlight of our trip. Wonderful shop, gifts and art work. Watching and chatting with the artists is a rare privilege.
We saw a couple of the artists at work. They explained what they were doing and we even got to buy some of their art.
Great range of art works and other items. We had a very interesting and informative talk given about indigenous art work.
À really lovely gallery with a huge range of art and gifts, some at very reasonable prices. Very friendly, welcoming staff and some great gifts to fit in a suitcase as presents/ souvenirs. We were lucky enough to see 2 ladies painting during our visit, which made it all the more interesting. A great experience overall- thank you!
Beautiful gallery. Staff, including doggo were lovely and helpful. Artwork is incredible. Had to force ourselves not to overspend
The artwork here is much more original than most works at other galleries. Getting artists in the studio was a highlight, and being greeted by Kirby was very special
I think this is the best shop/gallery in Alice Springs for a broad range of quality paintings, sculpture weaving, fabric goods and all decorative arts. Many of the shops have mass produced souvenirs but Yubu Napa focusses on locally sourced and unique products. The shop has a studio attached where you can see artists at work. The owners are very welcoming and have a discerning eye for products that support artists from the region.
Really beautiful gallery! Amazing aboriginal art, some of them really modern. Gorgeous rugs and little boxes. The staff was also extremely friendly. The shop is not in the main road but it definitly worth to go and check
Highly recommend
Lucky to see some artists working in the studio space at the back. Great range of gift ideas for visitors including home wares, jewelry and art. Thank you for having us!
I have been here a couple of times, Alice Springs has heaps of places but I love this place as it seems more in touch with the local area. They aren’t just punching out the mass production. I came back and the owners remembered what I brought 2 years ago and that means they care about the art they sell.
If your looking to buy I would check out these guys for sure.
Outstanding place of beauty and life. So enjoyed my experience of being in and with all this gallery represents. Respect, honour, integrity. The owners are to be congratulated. Thank you (Carl & Rick?) I'll be back. Anna.
Stunning artwork.
Wonderful customer service.
Staff very helpful for ideas beyond the gallery.
Thank you
Incredible art & creative projects. Also a wonderful opportunity to meet local Indigenous artists as they paint:)
The gallery is an amazing pet friendly place for tourists. The guys at the gallery are very informative, and we could have spent longer chatting air conditioning and free chilled water and extensive artworks including spectacular jewelry!
A beautiful gallery and studio, ethical art often produced by artists on site. All authentic art, beautifully crafted. Great to see there is a fantastic gallery in Alice springs. It seems not all Indigenous art galleries have as much integrity in the way they do business as these guys do. Definitely visit! And don't forget to say hi to their friendly dog Kirby
Wonderful gallery / studio / gift shop. Everything was finely presented, it was very comfortable with AC and cold water on offer, and there is some fantastic work on display here. I particularly enjoyed the paintings of Kerry McCarthy (truly spectacular), but I also liked the design aesthetic of Leroy Link, and walked away with a souvenir boomerang painted by him.
