Yaye's Cafe reviews
29Not recommend this cafe at all,i have a friend working there and they're didn't even pay my friend around a few thousand dollars unpaid. My friend tried many ways to get the money back but it didnt work out,it's been months still nothing from them. How can this kinda restaurant survive and got so many recommendations are they all friends of the owner to give good reviews?the pic from my friend, she left from the work now.so people will only care about the food there while ignore the restaurant's poor treatment towards their employee? How sad.
The door was closed but we weent in. Neither counter staff acknowledged us, then a young boy pushed between us to take an order outside. Didnt borher to say 'excuse me'. We stood for ages looking at the very thin slices of cake for $7. Still no acknowledgement, not even a nod. So we walked out, drove into town and got really good service, breakfast and coffee in Todd Mall.
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good empanadas and coffee. All other food is dry and pretty tasteless.
Decent, fast service and ample seating and fair prices. Empanadas came bordering on toasted and burnt. Likely not going to try hazelnut milkshake again as it's an acquired taste.not the restaurant's fault though. Dessert was nice and the sandwich I ordered wasn't something that I'd say left a memorable impression on me.
Nice place in the Araluen centre.
Fast service, reasonable food and prices with a south American accent. Mostly outdoor seating.
The corned beef sandwich was very tasty however that was the only food item available from the menu.
Okay-ish cappuccino and flat white, some breakfast options. Service is very friendly, and you can sit outside.
Such a great cafe, with amazing staff and located in a beautiful Alice's spot. I love the empanadas and alfajores
Love love this Cafe! A little gem in Alice. The coffee is great and the ambience is vibrant. Feels very welcoming and the team has a great energy!
Great chill vibes in this local cafe conveniently located close to local museums. These guys are rocking here with amazing latin vibes and food - 100% recommended
Yummy food and coffee/hot chocolate. Would like to come back for lunch and try the empanadas
Nothing my family of 7 got from here was bad, great food, drinks and customer service. Yaye’s!
Saturday 16th July we came today and tried a delicious breakfast, staff is amazing thanks a lot we’ll come back
Lovely atmosphere served with a side of great service and food. While having traditional breakfast options it’s worth getting out of your comfort zone and trying the South American style dishes. The Inca salad seen in the picture below is delish!
Ooh, can't believe I haven't added a review for this wonderful venue already.
Excellent food and beverages in a great little setting, just next to Araluen Arts Centre and other places in the arts precinct.
Ambience is superb, with a choice of indoors in the air con, or outside either avoiding or chasing the sun. The place is very peaceful, and if there's not the hum of other patrons chatting, or if there is, you can enjoy the relaxing South American and Spanish music.
But for me, the best thing about Yaye's is the friendly, happy, excellent staff. G'day to M, S, D, M, and anyone I've forgotten. Thanks for helping me with my Spanish and Brazilian (and its subtle differences to Portuguese). ️? - -? ️️
Lovely food service and good company always a pleasure to go there and be looked after there were people here before I took this picture I was busy admiring view of ranges and talking to hosts
Really nice coffee and a place to sit out of the wind. This is a sweet little cafe that's tucked away at the back of Araluen, in town and close to everything but not part of the hustle and bustle.
Excellent coffee spot: Very good coffee prep and extraction, very good milk emulsion: best coffee in Northern Territory!
Enjoy the cheesecake too, the best I ever tasted in Australia!
We visited Yaye's cafe a few times while staying in Alice Springs during our camper van trip around Australia. The coffee was delicious and we really enjoyed the South American empanadas for lunch. The people there were really friendly: D
