11 Great experience with these guys and their beautiful horses at a school holiday program they held a few weeks ago!
Such a nice atmosphere and the staff was super friendly!
Marc hosted us for NT stockman session. This was an amazing experience! Rounding up Billy the bill and the water buffalo. Top class horses suited to riders. Our group had both beginners and intermediate riders. Thank you Marc and team for a truely Australian Outback experience.
Horseriding is my 4 year old child's favourite hobby. Her instructor is so personable, friendly and welcoming. The aura of the place is calm and serene. We enjoy getting to know the ponies. Horsemanship lessons teach my child to care for the animals she greets and grooms the pony she will ride. I like the slow, gradual pace this process takes up to when she puts the saddle on and rides. She already knows how to pull the reins gently to stop, and turn independently. She learns safety and boundaries. There's a familiar obstacle course she follows each lessons and the lessons now consist of simple ball games. The surrounding beautiful nature and a chance to get away from busy Darwin is good also for the heart rate. After each lesson my child asks to go again. There's ample time- a whole hour - to have this experience, which I like because it gives my child time to get to know the pony and her personality, which I feel is an important part of communicating with the animal, and developing a mutual respect and understanding. These traits are so important for children to learn, and through Horsemanship lessons they learn these in a natural way. I'm very happy I found this place- it's a treasure.
Amazing tourist experience camp drafting Buffalo on Rips very own competition horses. Highly recommended. Debbie and Melissa from NZ XOXO
What an amazing experience, Marc and his team are brilliant and the horses are so beautiful. Thank you.
Marc and his team run excellent classes and the horses are extremely patient with beginner riders like myself. I highly reccomend joining in some classes
I booked the "Become an NT Ringer" experience while I was up in Darwin, and it was the absolute highlight of my trip! Marc is super lovely, experienced, and knowledgeable in so many areas, and very clearly cares about his animals. The horses are very well trained and responsive. "Covid" took very good care of me while I was getting my confidence back in the saddle.
I’d never campdrafted or worked with cattle before, and I felt like learned a lot in the time we had - it was a real outback experience. And it was lovely to finish off the morning with a beer after the trail ride! I’ll definitely come back next time I’m up north.
Highly recommend, Marc is great and provides great feedback. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Very welcoming

This is Shelby, I'm 12 years old and am one of the girls that have horse riding lessons here at Yarraman Territory and just wanted to say that Yarraman Territory is the best place ever if you love horses and who doesn't like horses right? Well that's all I wanted to say but if you love horses and what to learn about horses and how to ride them then you should definitely come to Yarraman Territory. P.s. Mark, if you see this, Covid is my favorite horse so please let me ride him PLEASE!
