Absolutely crushing to see one of my favourite attractions in Australia be in such a state. COVID must have absolutely smashed its business into the ground. Came here as this review was written (10 DEC 23), and twice before in JAN 21 and DEC 20, where it was still up and running. Completely smashed windows, barricaded doors, sculptures thrashed, petrol pumps bashed open, potholes and puddles and overgrown vegetation everywhere. Truely a sad sight to see. Location is essentially unmissable though, but seems to be on the brink of being de-gazetted. Road signs either removed or blacked out where Wycliffe Well once stood proudly.so if you want a final visit before its inevitable demolition sometime down the decade, keep your eyes peeled between Ali Curung and Tennant Creek.

Bizarre abandoned alien themed roadhouse. Worth a short stop just to see the sheer weirdness of it. Staff at the Devils Marbles Hotel down the road said the place flooded too often (as it is by a riverbed) and the owners decided to cut their losses.

This was a really sad sight. We stopped here yesterday June 28,2023 and the place was abandoned. It has also been trashed/ransacked. It was like the pictures you see on tv from a war torn country.
Shame too whoever destroyed the place. The Alien mural outside is cool

Still closed as of late May.
Place is deserted due to 3 floods in 2 months and then the place was ransacked.
Likelyhood of reopening looks remote

I want give it a zero star if I can. Budget room's AC take hours to cool down today. I don't believe it will work at real summer.

Stopped because it was so retro trash sci-fi. Lived up to it. Bought an icecream which must have been 3 years old.don't stop here with any expectations to avoid disappointment.

It was obviously something special a long long time ago, has fallen into total disrepair under its current ownership, rubbish laying everywhere, toilets & showers are filthy dirty, I’d suggest a roadside stop would be better value, to be honest it should be closed down for health & safety reasons.

Our stay here was just fantastic, yes it’s run down. The toilets & showers were clean. We stayed here for 4 nights. It’s nice and quiet. Some travellers, were just so rude to the owners & disrespectful to other campers. 10or 12 people wanted a meal, because of COVID they had limited room for them all to eat at once. Thank you to the owners for they supplied lovely food. In the dining area.

This is the worst caravan park I’ve ever visited. So run down, dirty and disgusting. Mouldy food in camp kitchen, disgusting toilets, no hot water in facilities.

So sad to see a fantastic, thriving place go so downhill.there is a reason there was NO ONE staying there, whilst venues before and after this place had plenty of people and campers.

Good for an over night stay, but we didn't feel welcome in the shop, we had lunch, not friendly service but went back for dinner and door closed, when they opened it up, it was not a friendly welcome, we felt very uncomfortable so just left and eat food from our van. Disappointed as the reviews we read had said how friendly and welcoming the host where, we must have caught them on a bad day?

This place was really amazing 20 years ago. The caravan park was such a fun place to be, with statues of aliens etc and spaceships as the main theme of this caravan park, due to sighting there many years ago. The newspaper articles are still on display inside. Its such a shame that United petroleum who now own it, have not maintained it to the standard that it requires. The grounds have been neglected, the statues etc are all faded. The old sheds in the caravan park are all neglected as well as the toilets and showers, but the artwork on the sheds are so amazing, such a shame they have not been maintained. There is so much potential for this caravan park, which is a main stop over for the night for travellers. This place if maintained would be such a popular stop for families with children, as it would give them a memorable stop over and a break from the long hours of driving. The boys running it are very friendly and helpful, so I can only imagine if alittle money was spent to bring it back to its glory how profitable it would be for United! With afew fladhing lights on the spaceships advertising the Caravan Park no one will go through Wyecliff Wells (with children especially) without wanting to stop a night and get fuel!
I would still recommend a stop over to check out the place and take photos and read the articles and buy souvenirs which are grest. There is a life size statue of an alien inside the shop which you can take photos of which is amazing. Hopefully they'll look after it and not abandon it as well! Perhaps with some encouragement from the public, United can see how much this place can bring some fun for travellers on their journeys and how much more advertising it would get from all the excited families after their stop over.

This place is a dump. Rubbish and junk lying around. Campground run down and facilities in poor condition. Air compressure for tyres full of water. Needs new managment.

We did a quick stop just to check it out.
Is worth it to see the UFO paraphernalia but be aware it is VERY run down. Still worth a look but I'd be hesitant to stay overnight, I think I'd be less scared of free camping nearby.
Bought a snack, drinks and some souvenirs. The price was a bit steep but the staff were friendly.
The toilets are disgusting, water all pooled on the floor behind and to the side. Place could be great with some major maintenance done to it.

Great place to stop. The rooms are nice and clean and the food is top notch. The alien stuff is very spooky at night and if you’re chasing ufos it’s a worthwhile stop. Recommend driving down the road a bit if you want to look for paranormal stuff and you will probably experience something. The owners and staff are really nice as well.

If I didn't require petrol I would've avoided this place
The best part of it was the art and statues of Martians
Other than that it was dirty and stunk

It's a roadhouse. An outback roadhouse. On bore water in the middle of somewhere. Beer was cold. Fellows operating it were polite, helpful and the burger with the lot was real.old school. You just have to remember where you are. Well done guys. No Taj Mahal but the eclectic alien theme gives it character.

Used to be good years ago. New owners are just not as driven or as enthusiastic. Shame, this was a great little spot to stop. Even the food is average. We pulled up, had a look, chatted to the local cops, then bolted. I suggest you do the same unless this place is cleaned up.

We had a memorable overnight stay as it was quite unique, their was no road noise surprisingly. The owners were really nice and up for a chat. Place has clean toilets and plenty of room.
