Wirib Store & Tourism Park reviews
25Not a bad story to visit if you are travelling through Timber Creek and need a coffee. Good coffee
Hard to say as they were closed but the fuel pte-pay system isn't working for diesel. Tried 2 bowsers. Total of $80, will watch to see if it comes out of my account as there wasn't any diesel flowing.
Just stopped in at this store on our way through on a journey. Pre ordered our meals for the group and the food was OK with good quick service. Did not stay here so cannot comment on accommodation, but an interesting location.
Great spot. Wish we had booked another night. Grassed areas, funky little camp area + pool. Quiet. Bakery & well stocked mini mart which is open weekdays & Sat morning. Thank you for your NT hospitality
Great spot on the Victoria Hwy. Very good camping/caravan area both powered and unpowered. Nice meals, food, coffee and a cold beer. Great place to stop.
Dont be fooled by what the front looks like. Behind the fence is beautiful big sites clean facilities and a well stocked shop.
Great place to stop for the night. Gated. Good sites. Grassed. Good clean shower block. Washing machines. Petrol station has a very good grocery store. Limited takeaway hot food. Hotel restaurants was closed. 40 bucks for a powered water site. Fair price for the middle of nowhere. Well done timber Creek
It was a good place to get coffee but as they had a government group in for unknown amount of time, we didnt find out the Wirib caravan park was closed until we got there despite calls and emails. Something should have been put on their website. The pub next door had a caravan park and we stayed there. It was basic but clean.
We decided to stay in a cabin as sick of setting up the tent every day. The cabin was huge and very clean. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. I am looking forward to trying the new cafe in 4 weeks.
Fresh food, friendly staff and decent pricing for a regional site. Cheaper than many road houses but better/fresher food. Happy to make to order.
Nice grass to set up the tent, but we found it hard to find a level spot. We also felt a bit out of the way. The facilities were ok but a little worn, but for $20 a night, not bad. Very well equipped store and yummy bakery.
Arrived here at night around 8pm.
Don't drive at night in outback NT guys.
I was scared.
Cheap place but nice
If you have to be stuck in the NT waiting to cross in to Western Australia, then you probably couldn't do better.
A very friendly welcome from the lady at reception. Explained all the local attractions. We had a nice grass spot next to the creek. It was large and power and water was close by.
Clean toilets and amenities and at $30 was tremendous value. The park was neat clean and looked well cared for. Wish we could have stayed longer. Only downside was no tv reception.
This store has an unexpectedly Huge range of items! As well as the fuel station, you can get groceries, hot take away food, coffee & fresh bakery products.
Good price for Unpowered site.
Showers were nice and hot with great water pressure but toilet and showers need an upgrade
Great overnight stop. Well looked after, easy booking process, the creek is on the boundary, very good supermarket, lovely staff, and reasonable amenities.
Nice spot to have a rest, there are just a few or nothing at the surrounders.
You have a kitchen, clean toilets, big campground and the petrol station which also sell a nice variety of groceries.
We payd $30 for powered spot for a tent. It was raining extremely and huge storm torment so we couldn't use the power at all, and was impossible to built the tent, luckily for us a man who rents an apartment there shared with us a space of his carport to put the tent.
If it weren't for the storm I am sure it is lovely to stay there, plan well to travel in wet season for the surrounders.
Nice place to spend a night! We could stay for a night for free at the camping site (off season I guess) and thanks a lot again. Toilets were really clean and tidy, quiet ambience, kitchen was lovely, but the best part was the lights! All the light tubes in kitchen, laundry room and toilets were yellow fluorescent tubes. We could chill and relax without thinking about mozzies. We also got some stuffs at the cafe in the morning, lamington was especially lovely. Thanks a lot again!:)
