Wanngardi caravan park reviews
38This is an amazing caravan. Peaceful, stunning Mountain View’s, awesome amenities and their sustainability ethos with their rubbish disposal is going above and beyond for the environment! Definitely recommend!
Great shady refuge 20 kms out of Alice. Great roomy unpoweres sites at the foot of a majestic red bluff. Anne was welcoming and super helpful.
Spotless amenities
This lovely caravan park is set in the shadow of the McDonnell ranges just our of Alice. So peaceful and beautifully maintained simple style but perfect.
Great large sites. Reasonable rates, especially premium double sites (check thier website) Highly recommend this park. Only 15 minutes drive to the Alice town centre.
Cracking spacious park with great amenities. Loved the open camp kitchen. Friendly staff (Dash and Ralf), with good advice for travelling and checking out the top spots around Alice, which is way safer than reports suggest.
Wonderful place amazing staff the most peaceful and safe park in Alice. I highly recommend this park but it is seasonal. Definitely will be back 100%
Lovely quiet place with a real bush camp feeling. Camp kitchen was very basic with only a kettle, microwave and dishwasher liquid. BYO everything else. The toilet is very confined, you wouldn't want to be very tall and sitting as your knees would hit the door.
The best thing about this park is the location. It is lovely with lots of trees and views of the hills. Amenities are basic but adequate and clean. Unfortunately the park roosters crowing at 4am is not so great. We also had a problem with one of the managers when we queried an advertised price for our site. She was defensive and not nice. It was unnecessary and spoiled our stay.
For an older country style camp, I thoroughly recommend this park. Safe, clean and helpful staff.
Quiet, well run and maintained park. Has everything we need without all the extras we don't at a very sensible nightly rate.
Have just had a lovely couple of days at wanngardi caravan park…it was very comfortable, the amenities were lovely and clean and it was lovely and quiet at night…thank you for a lovely stay.
Lovely independent park just a few minutes from Simpsons Gap (first of the West MacDonnell Ranges sites). Facilities are nice and clean:)
Love this place especially their focus on sustainability - good recycling, compost and solar! Beautiful views, large unpowered sites and nice clean amenities.
Best caravan I have stayed in great owners hot showers Clean park just 10 mins out of town I recommend this park for everyone
Reasonable price shady sites. Nice to see eco friendly attitude-. Cleanest amenities I’ve ever seen in a caravan park
Manager Dash is super friendly, blocks are large, view of ranges is great, water available, dunnys exceptionally clean. Basic but perfect, would def recommend
We were very pleased to find this place. Powered site for a motorhome, with a view! And some friendly cows in the paddock next door. We were heading from the West MacDonnell Ranges through to Kings Canyon, but we didn't want to stay in town. So being just outside of Alice but with a bush feel was perfect. Dash was great, made us feel welcome and at home straight away. Bathrooms were very clean and newer. We would have stayed longer, but will recommend to our friends!
We loved staying at this campground and wish we found it earlier. It's less than ten mins outside Alice but feels like you're in a National Park miles away, except that you have hot showers and and proper toilets. Best of all you can have a campfire. Thanks Dash and Ralph for looking after us.
Wonderful Hospitality. Movies and Pizza if you are serendipitously in synchronisation
With the the program?
Loved the Showing of the "Shiralee" (original) Still living the Dream - of hope.that - Wim Wenders " Sebastian Salgado _ "The Salt of The Earth " can Premier minus the Ice creams.
An important milestone Documentary that deserves a Bush Setting!
Then maybe a few Laughs with The Marx Brothers.
. Hot New York Pastrami Rolls at intermission.ha ha
If ever there is a Showing of 'KOyaniSquatsi. '?
Phillip Glass
Musical score.it would surely have to be
Manhattan Cheesecake! Afterwards?
The list goes on. The only Flick I can match with PopCorn just now would be the Musical
: * Annie Get Your Gun:
The Hill behind the Park is called 'Thingamajig Hill " and is home to a Perigrine Falcon. The Hill is sort of like the One in Steven Spielberg s Close Encounter s of the 3rd kin. Mind you I reckon that's worth viewing with Chuppah Chups!

Fair way out of Alice Springs along west MacDonald ranges.it's quiet with very large sites. 20 a night unpowered. Bbq area good shower and laundry although no dryer but a clothesline.
Manager helpful lives on site water taps
If your the self sufficient type this park is ideal for a caravan or trailer being not to close to Alice but within 15minutes.
I like the recycling station they have set up for glass plastics cans compost. And ordinary rubbish great idea you don't see that often.well run casual park 4stars.
