8Mowed green lawns, trees for shade, toilets clean and cheap site fee. It would be good to see a bit more work done on the laundry and bathrooms. Looking at previous reviews it looks like the owners are trying to fix it up.
Great price, couldn't wash as washing machine broken, didn't shower either as showers were discussing, food at petrol station great, we had curry (steamed rice) ordered hot chips, chips were good
Terrible service from the service station. I had the same gas bottle filled up 2 weeks ago, went back and the man charged me $7 more. When I questioned him he said called me a liar. Very rude and very disappointed.
I have given 2 stars, 1 for a hot shower & 1 for the toilet. The service station shop is a disgrace, the grounds are very basic, the surrounds have not been maintained for many years.
Now let’s take away those stars thanks to the LOCALS,
The loudest in town private stereo system you will ever hear played until 2.15 am and kept everyone awake. After that the LOCALS started screaming, swearing, arguing in the streets and never stopped until we drove out of town.
The pub has great beer, great food, great service. Support the pub and get the hell out of town. DO NOT STAY
Buy the large size the first time, it'll be the best $10 you'll spend in Pine Creek. Stupidly we bought the small first but they were so incredible we went back to buy the large! These are the biggest fattest crunchiest chips EVER and we are total chip conisseurs!
The attendant carefully jammed the box full (so ignore the pic, we ate most of them before we took the photo)
This is a cheap and chearful place to stay. Facilities are old but reasonably clean the owners are pleasant and helpfull and although the sites are level they are not very long for large vans. However they have no issue taking two sites. Great stopover with good food and cheap fuel
The Indian food is BRILLIANT! The sites are cheap and basic, but entirely adequate. Overall, do come here, walk over to the pub, go to the lookout and just veg.
