Uluru Coach Sunset Viewing Area reviews
20Amazing sunset views. The rock shadowing seems to change the rock colour. There's a long path to walk for viewing. Best to walk further on to get good pictures from anyone else.
Crocodile and Tessa were fantastic! Sunset was great, the coach was comfortable and the snacks were yummy:)
The sunset is actually opposite to Uluru, but it is an excellent place to have an overall view of the rock.
The area is busy most of the time during sunset.
I'd recommend once in the carpark taking the track south to multiple viewing points. Max 5 minute walk.
Spectacular sunset, shame about the sun behind us but you can still see Uluru which changes color as the sun goes down
The beautiful boulders take on different colors over time, which is really amazing to see the uncanny craftsmanship of nature.
This is just stunning! Seeing this face of Uluru when the sun is setting is a must on your to do list. The colour changes are fascinating and the whole aura and feel of Uluru is so special.
Highly advise the Segway tour that allows you to circle the entire rock in a few hours. So much to hear about and see. The Segways are a lot of fun and not at all difficult to figure out. You get instructional training before you start the tour, so anyone can take the tour. They offer a few different options with plenty of stops to get some great pictures.
These pictures were taken at a viewing platform at sunset. We had booked this tour with AAT tour company. This was a fantastic trip. Jess, Odin, Matt Andrew, the bbq Chef, and the lady Maitre d' whose names I can not recollect, I m truly sorry for this lapse, you all were superb and looked after us so well. Thank you so much. Your hospitality and service were just excellent. I would certainly recommend their 'Sacred Sites' tour and finish it off with the Bbq under the stars experience. It was such a beautiful experience and a great memory of our trip to the Red Centre thank you again.
Wonderful! I can feel the spirit of indigenous people. Feel little bit about how sacred and holy Uluru must have been to them.
Sunset a must here, take your time you will see the colors. Walk around, 9 km 1.5 h and take a closer look.
5 stars for the sight of Uluru as always️️You are not up close but it is fine for getting your shots in any direction. 2 stars for AAT King Sunset tour with nibbles & a glass of wine. The driver just mumbled on the way there & told us to get back into the bus by 6.30 pm (29 July - 2 weeks ago). Which meant you are never going to get the twilight golden hues.
The crowds! So off putting but well, you have to stick to designated areas to avoid disturbing the environment. Walk further up beyond the covered seating area & you will find a measure of quietude- away from the madding crowds but be prepared to walk back quickly to the coach in time! No toilets here.
Beautiful. Breathtaking. Awe-inspiring. Heart-warming. The historic and cultural and physical heart of a nation.
The view is more than five stars. When I was there, full of buses and people. Mostly they enjoyed drinking rather than feeling the power of nature, Uluru. A bit disappointed.
If you wanna see quietly, I recommend talking a short walk a bit from the parking. Most drinkers are not going.
This was an excellent spot for the sunset and AATKings put on an excellent feed and drinks
A follow up to an adventure I took 35 years ago. Just as good in many respects and many wonderful memories. Some time things don't change that much. A journey I will never forget and we'll worth doing. Just look at the photos. 10/10
Truly magnificent natural wonder. Love the outback, weather and people.
As a Tour Coach Driver, I can't tour up there enough.
This is one of those places that you cannot sum up in pictures. You have to see it for yourself to appreciate.
Excellent, definitely worth the cost and time. You will have a long day, but the sunset is worth all the effort. The tour guides provide a lot of information. There’s a fairly good amount of walking during the day. Cool to meet travelers from across the globe. The food was good as well.
