One of my favourite shops to visit in Katherine. Great range of books, magazines and souvenirs.
I have bin in this shop a couple years ago. I came from Holland, when i was traveling to a cattle station to work for 2 months.
The woman was very helpful, and very kind. I dont want to explain exactly how she helped me out of my problems on that moment. But she is a good woman! The sunglasses i bought there are still in my car on this moment! Sunglasses with a special story.
What a fantastic range of souvenirs! Staff were friendly and helpful! I walked out with gifts for my entire family…I was happy but my husband wasn’t
This Newsagent has a large range of gifts as well as local and National newspapers.
The young girl serving did not seem happy, yet provided answers to my questions. She was at least polite.
Located inside the Katherine Central shopping centre, directly opposite Woolworths.
Wheelchair access and parking is available, although the store is quite small and a wheelchair could only be just inside the entrance. I am sure they will offer assistance.
This shop is awesome. There’s something for everyone and the staff try their hardest to cater to all, on top of being friendly and helpful. It really isn’t just a news-agency, it is a must-visit attraction!
Bought an item, which had a price tag on it, when I went to tbe register price was much dearer. When I questioned the manager about this, he said staff had put wrong ticket on it and I had to pay the dearer price. Staff were very rude, would not recommend this shop.

Still a great store with many items /gifts to choose from and with excellent staff
Be wary of what you but From this store, i bought swimming goggles that were scratched and stained sticky and warped. Safe to say they are used.
Everything else in the store is over priced
I was very offended with a couple of the souvenirs that I saw in this shop. I thought that most of the shop was great but a few of the things written on beer coolers and a number plate hanging on the wall in full view of children was awful and offensive to myself and other like minded people. I don't mind a laugh and a bit of a joke, but I think if we want our children and grandchildren to become decent human beings then these four letter words starting with "C" should not be displayed where children are freely walking passed. I turned the product over in disgust.
