Incredible experience. Brolga (the owner of the place) tells us the touching story of what led him to create this kangaroo hospital.
He takes the time to chat with visitors. We feel the passion that drives him when he talks about these animals.
We were able to hold baby kangaroos during the visit as well as give them a bottle.
I recommend this visit, and I would do it again if I were to return to Alice Springs.
Thanks again.
And most important:
-> always have a pillow bag in the boot.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Sanctuary, we had two American friends visiting us and we’re thrilled to be see the Roos up close and even hold a Joey! We all enjoyed Brolgas excellent commentary and his passion for helping these beautiful orphans get back to the bush! I can recommend this experience for visitors or locals!

What a beautiful tour. No pressure of donating or having to buy anything. Good information on how the sanctuary was built and why. It was a very special place for me to visit before I have to go back home after traveling. Thank you so much for this!

Great tour by the owner, Chris, or Brolga. We got to interact and see several of his sanctuary kangaroos while learning all about how they live. We also learned how to save a Joey plus got to hold one for a while. Definitely would go again.

This tour I did last night. Chris is really informative and I learnt something vital. If you see a dead kangaroo STOP it could very well have a joey inside still alive. Thanks Chris definitely put a pillow case in my car this morning.

An eye opening awesome experience. Thanks to Chris and his volunteers for a educational, sometimes funny, inspiring insight into what they do to help save the orphaned Joeys that come into their care. A pillow case going into my car as soon as I get home!

This is the kangaroo sanctuary of Chris, the "Kangaroo Whisperer" of Australia.

Watch him hug & cuddle them. See them run up to Chris for cuddles.

There are also many delightful videos you can see on the site. This is kangaroos as they should really be - protected and loved.

Brolga is such a kind and caring person who truely has the kangaroos as the No 1 priority at the Kangaroo Sanctuary. If you expect this place to be like a animal park you will be very suprised. Roger is the big alpha Male who was one of the first Kangaroos that Brolga took in. I love it how one of the main points that Brolga educates visitors about is that you must always look at an injured or dead kangaroo of you find one as there is a very good chance that it has a living joey in its pouch. Out of all the things I have done over the years this is one of the best. Respect goes out to Brolga for what he has done. #kangaroo

Chris "Brolga" is a national treasure and great ambassador for our kangaroo's. He articulately sets the scene for people to walk away with nothing but love and respect for our national emblem. He empowers people to stop and check the pouches of dead kangaroos for joeys. Meeting people like Brolga lifts my spirits as he is such a wonderful advocate - authentic, respectful, kind and wise. The coach driver was super lovely too!

Amazing sanctuary! The owner explains how the sanctuary works and also gives you tips on how you can help to rescue kangaroos. You get up close with the kangaroos. Everything is set up so that you interact with only the Kangaroos that cannot go back in the wild. You can also hold the new baby kangaroos in a pouch as this mimics what it would be like with their mom. When babies get older, they go to the rehabilitation center and tourist cannot be in contact with them anymore.

Had a great night with my Family with an old mate Brolga. This is not a zoo. This is about a true Gentleman’s love of animals in particular Kangaroos. Brolga is passionate about “all” animals and is providing a future for otherwise a likely death for Joey’s. You can be a part of his dream by taking the tour. Your support will ensure these Joey’s get a second chance at a natural life in the Bush. You will not be disappointed in anyway. If you can’t get to the tour you can donate to his cause to ensure these beautiful Joey’s get the chance in life they deserve. Remember these Joey’s Mothers met there fate through “road kill”. If you see Road Kill, pull up. There is a chance that there will be an orphaned Joey in her Pouch. Take that baby to the nearest town as there will be caters. Wrap the Joey in a pillow case and hold it as you would a baby.

Such s Nice/Magic Place.
Thank you very much to Chris (Kangaroo Dundee). And his volunteer workers. You are doing an awesome job by taking care of Injured Kangaroos and rescuing joy's whose moms died on the Highway. Thank you very much for your dedication?

Was there way back in 2007, and in my 3 months traveling Oz it was one of my best experiences. Such a great cause and friendly people hope to visit again some day with my kids
