I used to have a very high end renovation company in Darwin. Toby completely stuffed up a ply ceiling after trying to apply the coating system incorrectly. After first accepting the responsibility and agreeing to work with us to rectify the issue, he later changed his mind, and denied all responsibility, even though all independent reports by insurance assessors stated he was directly at fault. This resulted in a massive restoration bill. This had a massive impact to our business and therefore I would not recommend this business all. Unfortunately the Northern Territory does not regulate painters, so no license is required which also means no authority to discipline shotty practice. Beware, incompetence can be very costly, in this case the repair bill was more than the original works.
