Stuarts Well Roadhouse & Caravan Park reviews
37I enjoyed stopping there to get out and have a break and to feed the emu's that was quite cool loved that!
Loved this as a stop off on the highway. Breakfast is very good. Lovely people, very friendly. Good prices.
We first of all pulled up just to buy some fuel but found a place in dearing and we stayed overnight there out in the Park. We met a couple of locals in the shop that told us about the state of the roads heading out towards the Finke Desert Race so all in all the great experience
The Hiway Inn Daly Waters is located in the Northern Territory
I would highly recommend to stay here when travelling to Darwin I think it's great
Rooms are clean and comfortable, food is fantastic, drinks cold and the service is fantastic. The staff and owners are great and can not do enough for you. I will be going back.
Shell truck stop, clean showers & great service but again this shire needs to maintain parking area for big pot holes
Only stopped for fuel, to get a bite to eat and use the loo. All good except the diesel was over $3 a litre, but normal for this remote area at the moment.
Great little spot. Had breakfast and coffee. Took pictures of emus and Dam. Nice place to stop. Has overnight camping.
We didn’t stay but stopped off here yesterday after a night in Rainbow valley struggling with our first experience with a popup tent Ute and so had had very little for breakfast. We arrived at about 9 am and had cappuccinos and I had a camel pie which they heated up especially as there were none in the pie cabinet. This was a delicious and generous pie with alot of meat and not filled with gravy like a lot of pies usually are so I was very pleased with my choice. My husband had the sausage roll which was also good. Coffee is hot and delicious too so I would highly recommend this place for a stop on Stuart highway. The 2 women there serving/ cooking were fun to chat with and we really enjoyed their company- sad to leave this place of great good humor
Probably one of the better services on the highway. Hot food, toilets (average condition) and some emus. You need the key from the shop to use the loo.
Also a caravan stop so quite busy. There is also a gift shop with some Stuart well knick knacks. This station has some history so do read up.
Also check out the random smurf collection on the back room with a there as well.
Quirky but good. Worth a stop.
Disgusting dirty toilets and shower. Only one shower for women. Outside toilet block very strong urine smell. In the bar, loud music, loud people talking, flashing coloured lights to very late in the night. Not good for campers who need the sleep for travelling. Have to give one star so I can post review but it's actually a Zero!
Just popped in for a break. Lovely staff. Nice surroundings for a cuppa. Can also stay here but I was booked into Alice on this trip
Well what can I say? Avoid this place at all costs!
The staff were rude and disinterested.
The toilets and showers were filthy and smelt worse than most long drops I've been in.
They continued to serve alcohol to several inebriated indigenous patrons who (not surprisingly) became loud and argumentive. It made sleep impossible. Mind you I'm not sure what was worse the obnoxious behaviour of the drunks or the loud all in verbal argument between the owner and the drunks at 11pm at night trying to get them to leave.
This was an abysmal place to spend the night at!
Avoid it if at all possible!
The Advertising board reads "free wi fi" and "camel farm". This sign is incorrect. No "wi fi" and camel farm no longer exists. When questioned staff they advised it doesnt advertise free wi fi and camel farm closed approx 2 years ago. Upon leaving next morning read the sign on the way out it definitely reads "free wi fi". False advertising and it should be updated for travellers so they can decide whether they'll spend a night there. Especially if children are hoping to see a camel farm then disappointed. Unfair for this advertising to be still there.
A smile would be asking too much. Grumpy, snarly and everything was an effort, not to mention being kept awake till 1.30 am on a Tuesday night. Last time for us.
As usual a friendly fun roadhouse to stop for bloody excellent coffee and sandwiches. Never fails to produce!
Lovely friendly spot. We loved it. Needed power but free camping has a great view of McDonald's.
Shower block was disgusting. I would rather wash in a well. Pub food was excellent. Staff friendly except for 1 lady not very welcoming.and a bit rude. Wont stop here overnight again.
Stopped to have a cuppa. The service was great. The coffee and home made sausage roll were really good.
Don't be tricked in to buying diesel at the front pumps when it's 10c cheaper in the back car park.
